Answer:	Ok....the material isn’t susceptible to snagging but it is sort of quilted.....our 20lb dog does snag the quilting a lot. In fact, we were just talking about this yesterday. We’ve had it for almost 3 years. I still love it though. If you don’t have a dog that will be jumping up on it you’re probably safe. It still looks lovely.
