Question:	Will this cushion fit a standard folding chair, the type with padded seat and open lower back? Or will it fall thru the opening
Answer:	I suppose the lumbar cushion will fall through the opening, there is a strap on the lumbar, it may help to fix it on the folding chair but it may not work very well as the lumbar will slip away or slip out then your back lean against on it. Answer:	I don't know what you would consider soft or firm. It is very comfortable. I sleep with mine wrapped around by neck every night for needed neck bone support. I forget it is there.

Answer:	Yes, I just washed it after a long trip. It has a zipper and you can remove the cover for washing. It did not shrink and went right back on, very easy.

Answer:	Yes, it is too thick for my Nissan Altima. I moved my seat back two inches, and the cushion still binds/slips towards the passenger seat when I slide into the driver's seat. Once seated. it felt like my stomach was being pushed out, rather than my back supported. Tried it in my wife's M-Class MB and it was even worse...if it was half as thick, it might work in a car
