Answer:	The handle is smooth. Its blackwashed steel. But I wouldn't put grip tape on it. If you're in a situation where you think the handle may slip, wear gloves. Also it designed to clip into your pocket. Grip tape would probably interfere with it going in and out of your pocket easily.

Answer:	The blade steel is 8cr13mov which is a Chinese made budget steel. It is similar to AUS 8 in edge retention. It may not hold an edge forever like s30v or m390, but it is heck of a lot easier to sharpen and at this price point you can't really ask for much more. All in all it is a good steel that will get the job done. It is a great steel to learn how to practice sharpening with. I can get my cryo 2 hair shaving sharp with a little time spent on the stones and strop. Awesome blade! It is still in my weekly EDC rotation.

Answer:	You're misreading the math. 22 CFM is not the same as 45 CM/H. The first one is cubic feet per minute. The 2nd one is Cubic Meters divide by Height. So the difference is a matter of whether you want cubic feet or cubic meters. Quite a difference, since there's approx. 3 feet per meter. 39" or 3 feet + 3 inches

Answer:	I am not sure what it covers. I returned mine to Sears after the first use when it split open. I would not recommend this hose to anyone.

Answer:	I would own a stainless steel hose. I have two of these for use on our mini ranch and have use for 5 years. Other than being dirty they still hang like they are brand new.
Question:	About how long would it take to pump up a raft or inflatable kayak
Answer:	Most all machined brass is 360 leaded brass, but the lead doesn't leech out unless you expose it to seriously corrosive chemicals, which is rare even in an industrial setting (where you'd use stainless steel for the nasty stuff anyways) I know this from working with 360 brass in a machine shop and exploring this issue in depth with qualified chemical engineers in the coolant and lubricant field. It won't be a problem with tap water. The real culprit is the lead in cheap PVC hoses.

Answer:	Although it is a large knife it can be opened with one hand fairly easily. This is due to the quick opening mechanism that Kershaw knives use. My hands are not that big and I use it every day with onehand.

Answer:	OH HECK NO! It is heavy yes, it looks tough yes but, it doesn't hold and edge well. If you cut boxes or rope or open feed bags you have a dull edge in seconds.

Answer:	from what I can tell with some quick research, it seems to be 3Cr13 Stainless steel, if it where 8cr13mov they would advertise it on the blade like my other 2 kewshaws. I believe it would be like a 440a or b american steel but maybe tempered a little better it being Kershaw and all, good Co. Blade steel did not deter me from buying at all, I like it's style it's built with good quality.

Answer:	Not really. It's the standard red and black Kershaw box (thin cardboard). Decent for wrapping, but not a gift box. The knife is first rate and he'll love it. Good choice.
