We share everything practically everything - tips, pants, shoes...I am normally a size 4-6 (depending on item) but the small drowned me. Lots of room in the mid-section which would probably be less if someone was taller cause that bulk would be needed for height. But are not big people - lean on the thin side) so I sent mine back and got an x-small. I’m so much happier. She kept hers. Still bigger in mid section than others, but she likes that it’s not tight. My husband is not tall (5’8”) and is happy with the medium but it’s a tad big as well. They do not shrink. Very fleecy/comfortable.

Question:	How much does it shrink after washing
Answer:	We're not really using the towel to dry ourselves off. We use it to drape over an outdoor chair to sit down when we are wet. It is not one of your thicker beach towels. All of my other traditional beach towels with vertical stripes are thicker than this one. Its definitely on the thin side but we love the design and serves our purpose. It adds great color and has held up well. We've had it for 6 months and no sight of fading in any way. It sits under southern california sun/heat a couple days a week and its surviving the summer very well. We have design with the dolphin pair swimming among the exotic fish.

Our Towels will become thicker, softer and more absorbent after every wash. 🌞For Maximum absorbency, Please follow the instructions below: 1- Always use the back of the towel to dry yourself. The front with printed Image has the cotton loop cut off to create this soft and shinny velour finish and this process reduces absorbency. 2- Wash in cold water separately for the first time. 3- DO NOT use fabric softener. Fabric softeners coat the surface of fabric with a thin layer of chemicals (oils) that makes the fibers hydrophobic (oil and water don't mix). 4- DO NOT bleach. It may discolor your towels and damage the fabric.
