Answer:	Not at all. The package of four towels, folded so that each towel had 8 layers on top of each other (fold in half, then half again, then half again) were a total depth of under 5 inches. The package was not compressed. The towels are sturdy, normal towels but relatively THIN towels. If you are looking for plus towels, look elsewhere.

Answer:	I just ordered these towels for my guest bath. Hope they are absorbent.I see some reviews say they are not. Does everyone know you do not use fabric softener on towels. Also you should always wash any fabric whether it be clothes, towels, bed sheets before using because of the chemicals, Urea formaldehyde, that's used to set in the dyes/color to the fabric. These dyes can cause severe skin reactions for people similar to a poison ivy rash or less severe reactions like dry, itchy inflamed patches of skin. Also It is possible to transfer lice, scabies, bacteria, and fungus from one person to another person especially if it's clothes because most have been touched or tried on. Stores & Dressing rooms can become breeding grounds from everything from bacteria, viruses to athlete's foot.

They look (and are sold by the same company) just like Buff microfiber cloths which are the same size & % in material (BUT cheaper $9.98/12pk I LOVE them) I was in cool water somewhere in between warm & cold normally, with only other microfiber items, I keep like colors together for the first wash since some are highly dyed (learned the hard way with a different brand) and then it's best to hang dry but if you can't 2nd best is to tumble dry no heat, 3rd lowest heat.

• If you are using a dryer, use the high heat setting. Be careful though, you should not over-dry the towels. You should remove the towels from the dryer when they are 95% to 97% percent dry.
• Hang them up afterward in an area with good air flow. If towels are damp, you should never hang them over one another.
• Dry the towels immediately after washing them. You can rotate and turn over your towels periodically to ensure even drying.It is best to dry your towels in direct sunlight. Do not use iron on these towels.
