If I recall correctly, about 4-5 inches deep, about 6-7 wide, and about 4 inches high. They're big enough to hold some 'big' bottles of shower-product, but that one big product would be all you could fit on the shelf. Again, that's my recollection. I'm just answering since no one else has so take it with a grain of salt until someone else provides comment. |

| Answer: | It does come with small metal stakes, but I would not use them in any beach or deep sand. At the beach, I don't even need to use stakes. The stakes are best suited for dirt, not sand, which makes this have even more options for more use, outside of the sandy beach setting. This sun tent can be used at lakes, where there is no sandy beach or a limited man made sandy beach, or at a park, or in a field, or yard, and in summer if scotch guarded, a camp ground for one or two people to lay down all the way across if not too long legged. For someone to sit in this sun tent that is over six feet tall, on a beach chair, this is perfectly fine. Someone 5ft 7 inches can actually lay down in this thing, end to end. So, if you are wanting a compact set up tent for one or two people or a person and a dog, in summer weather, this might be your answer...I love how compact it is when folded up. Plus, refolding it back up, it easily fits back into the small bag it came with, unlike some compact tents that you wonder how they got it in its carry-bag in the first place. Attached on all three sides are sand bags to fill with sand to use on a sandy beach. Also, when you have a cooler inside of it, and your beach items and chairs, as well as yourself and whoever or whatever else, this beach tent is not going to go anywhere or get blown away, and if winds are so severe that it's trying to blow this thing away or blowing it so much that this item is severely deforming or having too much stress placed on the poles, perhaps nobody should be at the beach. How could anyone enjoy the beach with such a destructive wind? I do realize surfers like to enjoy the water during a hurricane, but this isn't really intended to use as a beach hurricane party tent or beach tropical storm tent. Usually, at that point, most tend not to go to the beach but for a normal day or normal windy beach day, this is perfect. |

| Answer: | ABSOLUTELY YES THEY CAN. A member of my family is OVER six ft tall. I put a NORMAL beach chair in there to test it out. He was perfectly fine. His head was not pushing against or touching the top. People who are well over six ft are not giving an accurate response or they are guessing.....or maybe they had a defective, much smaller tent get past quality control. One thing I have noticed on reviews or answers to questions people ask, there's an issue with honesty going on and one cannot help but wonder if competitors or just angry people have something to do with that. Many people get free stuff with their "unbiased" reviews, or financial incentives (gift cards or credit). Do you think that gravy train will continue if people don't continue to give positive reviews, or mostly positive reviews, on items that are crap or sub par? Plus, Amazon was busted a few years back for fake reviews matters. It was all over the news. In the past 4 months, their "review police" have also had a lot of suspicious and questionable behavior. They are deleting numerous reviews, often five star or positive. They never respond back to most people --and have never responded back to numerous people who have complained about this all over social media or YT, regardless of what others MIGHT say, and there is no reason for it. So, one has to wonder, why are they targeting some sellers or honest, authentic consumers not getting anything for free, and on a mission to limit or delete as many five star reviews as is possible with some sellers, while never ever letting anyone know why. Sure, if lucky you get a link to a lot of vague or completely unrelated possible reasons as to why, which is simply to prevent the " community reviews police" from being held accountable for dishonest, shady behavior. The best thing for you to do is to just buy it if you think it might be worth checking out because you can always return it the next day or a few days later after checking it out.
