Answer:	It looks and feels like plastic. I do not see anything about the material on the packaging. They work great.

Answer:	Not sure...but after a few months, they seem like new. I just rinse them out.

I like it very much b/c the soap does not sit in water on our tiled shower shelf. to clean it I either drop it on the floor and let the shower spray on it or throw one or two of these in a mesh bag in with the laundry. Question:	How long is this supposed to last? How is it properly maintained
Answer:	These last indefinitely. I originally one of these 12 years ago in Oregon a little gift shop. Still in great shape, and I ordered these because we have two additional bathrooms. Six is more than you would probably need, but you can pick the color you prefer and gift the rest. Our houseguests over the years had asked where I got my original one. So I plan to gift my extras. They really work to keep bar soap dry and not gummy. Just run hot water through it when it needs it, not very often. Enjoy! Long review but I love these.

Question:	That is the texture like? Is it very scratchy on your skin
Answer:	Its not soft, and kinda rough, but not scratchy. I would describe it more as a thick stiff fabric. However after about a month, it is not as stiff.

Answer:	They look to be but I haven’t had them long so I haven’t had the need to wash them. They do look very sturdy and not flimsy though.

Answer:	They seem to really hold up well. We’ve been using ours solid for a couple of months now & we have yet to have to replace them

Answer:	Yes, you can wash, rinse and dry them out when they are new if you want. I have never noticed any unusual or undesirable smell when new. After they are used with a bar of soap obviously they may take on the fragrance of the soap, especially when you leave the bar in the bag to dry which is the whole point of the bag - a quick convenient way to exfoliate with a bar of soap and a handy way to let the soap dry if you hang it up by the string loops when finished.

Answer:	Hi and thanks for your question! The industry name for the material is ASOCA, and it's really quite amazing. Industry researchers found that by mixing PE materials with, of all things, oyster shell powder, it becomes a non toxic new composite material that looks and performs the same but after being discarded will disintegrate at a rate of 95% after 6 months in the ground, water or exposed to sunlight. Indoors it should last 2 years before it starts to decompose. As a note, we are prevented by California regulations from using certain terms without their certification, so you won't find details in the product description. Question:	how long does it last
Answer:	I can’t say exactly... it depends on exposure. But I bought a pack 2 years ago and we have 2 left. We use them in our shower caddy (with rinsing it once every 90 days) and our guest bathroom. Ours is not in direct spray so one can last about 9 months to a year. If one used has a lot of direct contact with water then the lifespan might be more like 90 days.

Question:	Any suggestions for how to get rid of the chemical smell
Answer:	Mine wasn't that strong, and the smell went away quickly. You could try soaking them in vinegar. I'm just not sure if that would discolor them. A quick cleaning tip - use an old toothbrush.
Question:	Will the "saver" stay put when I grasp the soap, or does it become one and have to be separated in the air
Answer:	It might move a little because it just sits on the soap dish, but the bar does not stick to the "saver" and dries quickly and completely by the next shower so it is easy to pick up the next time. Nothing better in my opinion..
