It's when soap sits in the unit it starts to dry out and thicken causing the pump to clog or struggle to dispense. It will eventually damage the pump motor. As for "Method"... It's a line of cleaning products are designed to be environmentally / pet friendly. They have hand soaps both normal and foaming, soap for use to cleaning dishes (like dawn) laundry detergent, spray cleaner (like windex but has fragrance that doesn't smell like windex) I like pink grapefruit (clean smelling without being obtrusive) and other items. Target is the local store I can normally find their items.

Liquid like a gel will easily cause a clogging of the liquid outlet tube so that liquid could not come out.



How to solve?

Pour out the original liquid soap.

Dilute your liquid soap with water, warm water can be used too.

Answer:	It is pretty water proof. Also, remember it is powered by four AAA batteries. I anticipate even if submerged the worst you would likely have to do is take out and discard the batters, leave it out to dry for several days and then put in new batteries. I would not expect even submersion to permanently destroy the device.

Answer:	My experience has been that this unit, a AAA battery unit, is simply not meant for high traffic areas. I am in the process of replacing it with a Secura dispenser which utilizes AA batteries. It’s a bigger unit and better suited to kitchens etc where you get some pretty high usage. Good luck. I usually get through about half of the soap reservoir before requiring new batteries.

Answer:	Not sure what Dr. Bronners is like , but if it is not real thick , with consistency like regular Dawn or Polmolive dish soap it should do just fine. If surrounding air temperature is cold the soap will gel more and refuse to come out until the air temperature warms up. it works ok with little bit of lukewarm water added.

Answer:	Yes but try to find something under it to help carry the weight. I tried it with 2 3M strips and it failed to hold. But then I mounted it to a mirror with two more strips but placed it so the mirror mount carried the bulk of the weight.

Answer:	The soap dispenser it self can not be mounted but on I’m almost sure a holder for the dispenser can be mounted if a person wants to get creative.

Answer:	As long as the thickness of the shampoo/conditioner isn't much different than liquid soap, I would think that it would work fine. However, I would contact the merchant Applebuy123 to get their opinion. Please note that the 600ML-S02 dispenser is fairly large (projecting 5.5" from the wall) and would need to be put on the back wall of a shower/tub or you would risk hitting it.
