Question:	thw simplehuman website sates a 5 year warranty. has anyone had trouble with replacing it
Answer:	Hi M. John, my unit is around 28 to 29". I just measured, you can adjust from 26 to 27".
Question:	Can this be used for a thick lotion, such as a cream? (Cerave moisturizing cream is what I am thinking
Answer:	I tried for a year to make this work because of how much I spent on it and finally gave up today -- for a couple of reasons. You have to have smooth tiles for it to stick to with the suction cup otherwise it's all over the place. We use the large bottles of shampoo that have a pump and it's not stable enough for that. Also, we have a handheld shower with the hose and the bar that goes down the middle doesn't work with where the hose is.
Question:	How wide is the base of this in inches? I have about 3.25" of real estate to work with. Thank you
Answer:	yes it will clamp, I have installed two and they really nice to have in the shower. if you choose the larger style would will need to have the tub/shower as it is very large.
Question:	Any advice on getting this thing open for the first time? Tried some of the advice below, but nothing works
Answer:	The diameter of the clamp opening is 3/4 inch. The rubber around it is hard. I had to measure the circumference of my shower rod to figure out the diameter. Wrap a strip of paper or tape around the rod, mark where the two ends meet, and measure the strip or tape flat. Divide the circumference by pi (a calculator helps). 2.5 inch circumference ÷ 3.142 (pi) = 0.795 diameter (roughly 3/4 inch). It should fit. But the hook has to be completely closed around the rod, before the screw can be tightened. I didn’t have the strength, but my grown son managed to do it. It’s a very snug and secure fit. I hope this helps someone.

Answer:	Dear Customer: Hello, normal use of the battery can work for about 1 month, depending on the number of times you use it.

Answer:	I’ve had this problem, empty all soap in the dispenser and fill with very warm water. Let it stand for awhile. (I leave it overnight) Then drain water and fill with soap. This helps my dispenser start working again.
Question:	Two of these have failed, How does the warranty work
Answer:	I can't give you warranty information but just a hint... I thought one of mine failed also but I believe if you don't use the right soap, it will coagulate and block the exit tube. I ran just water through the one that wasn't working and eventually got it to work again. I am now using only foaming hand soap. That seems to not be as thick.
Question:	Stop working after 4 months of used. Any one can fix it

How to use:

1. Insert 4 x new AAA batteries into the bottom compartment of the soap dispenser.(not included)

2.Unlock the top cover by turning it anti-clockwise.

3.Pour liquid soap or disinfectant into the soap dispenser, should not be overfilled when pouring soap.

4.Press the power (+) button for 2 seconds to switch on.

5. To adjust the volume of soap liquid, press the “+/-” button to switch between the two settings.

Answer:	Hello, The internal dimensions are: Width: 13 8/16". Height: 28 5/7". Depth: 16 1/16".

Answer:	On mine the dial setting is totally useless.Also cooler cuts off when ambient temperature (say in a garage) rises above 70-80F so it is totally useless as a wine cooler.Better as a door stop!!!!!!
