Answer:	Since I am the only one that uses it, I haven't. I suppose you could spray with alcohol and then dry it with a hair dryer so as not to let the needles stay wet and potentially rust.
Question:	Does this have actual needles that penetrate the skin
Answer:	They are needles but they do not penetrate the skin. They apply pressure as in acupressure.
