Answer:	I threw it away already, but it's around 6" or 7". It slid across the floor every time I tried to use it.

It can be used for the heels as well, however, this takes more practice & your feet may slip off when it is too close to the edge of your feet. Answer:	I was using it for one foot at a time but with this question, I gave both feet at the same time a try. It does work for my feet (which are a bit on the narrow end of the spectrum) but the very edges of my feet are off the roller a bit. Just the pinky toe area. The roller is 5 inches long.

Question:	This looks like a dryer ball to me, what makes using this better than using one of my dryer balls
Answer:	I've been using a dryer ball for this purpose. It's not super sturdy, but it holds up to the pressure I put on it (I only weigh 100 lbs though). I'm thinking about ordering a legit massage ball because they're usually made of a dense, firm rubber that won't collapse like the plastic dryer balls feel like they'll eventually do, and they're a little smaller so would be perfect to keep one in my purse for work or travel.

Question:	Are these balls very hard/sturdy? I need something that won't squish down under my feet like a tennis ball does
Answer:	These balls are sturdy -- hard, even. No squish like a tennis ball. Closer to a set of wooden balls I have also used, but with the added benefit of the flat spikes (not sharp, but definitely raised). They work very well for me.
Question:	How do these compare to lacrosse balls for massage use
Answer:	these are smaller than lacrosse balls and do not have as much give. the tiny nubs didn't feel too great on my bare back but were ok over a shirt I primarily use them for my feet, hands, upper arms and elbows. they are great at getting in and massaging the muscles around the ulnar nerve in the elbow. they are cheap and worth the purchase. I own 2 of these and 3 lacrosse balls of different hardness to do self massage.
