I bought these shoes and a posture support brace (wear 2 hors/day for 2 weeks) on Amazon. I wear these shoes with socks on. At first I walk slowly until the muscles in my feet relax. Yes there is a bit of pain at first, but after a bit, it feels like a foot massage. Between the shoes the the brace, i am having a lot less pain and am able to move around a lot more.
