Answer:	They are hard rubber, how's that for an answer :). The issue with these is that you can't really put them on the naked skin, because there is no way to wash them. So when I give my husband a back massage with this thing, I place a sheet, a piece of fabric on his skin, and THEN massage it through the fabric, or you can massage a person through a shirt they're wearing, but massaging the naked skin will contaminate the nodes and then you can't really remove them or wash them.

Answer:	Hi - I am JD and I have fibromyalgia and have used percussion massagers for years. I must say the Max 2 had the most force but the top handle is intended for a second person to use and therefore is an obstruction to a single user. The handle is covered with a material that grips everything. I only received about 4 to 6 months of service before is failed. However, the manufacture date stated if the unit was opened or tampered with before returning for warranty the warranty was void. The electric cord separated just inside the handle. Rather than sending it back I attempted to repair it myself. Unfortunately there was other mechanical defectives in the unit. Therefore I could not return it for service. In my opinion this unit is very over priced for the quality. As for working on 220Vac I would contact the manufacture. But if you have not made a purchase yet, I would advise you to reconsider. As I said, this unit at first had great force, but failed in less than 4 months of service. I have also purchased the Thumper from Canada. It used to be a good device, but I just purchased another Thumper Sport 2 and it had failed. I just shipped it back for warranty service but since it is made in Canada I had to pay $40 to ship across the border. Good luck with your purchase. JD

I examined images of the Faulkner bikes and as an 18 year dealer of electric bikes, I can guarantee you that this charger will damage a lithium battery. Amazon offers ebike specific lithium chargers that are only a little more than this SLA charger. A simple search for 36V 1.5 to 2 amp lithium chargers will get you the correct product.
