Answer:	Yes, it's not what I call loud, but it is loud enough that it might be heard through the headset. Only way to find out for sure is to try it. You have nothing to lose. You can always return it if it doesn't work out.

Contacted the company and they were unable to send me the wall charger alone, so they sent me an entire new unit with both chargers and told me I don't have to return the first massager.
