Answer:	Danamarie - There is no vitamin K4. You meant to say MK-4 version of vitamin K2. Otherwise, good info. Really, we should be taking both MK-4 and MK-7 forms so this is a limited formula.

Answer:	Ingredients: Vitamin K2(as Natural MK-7menaquinone-7) (From Non-GMO Natto Extract) 90 mcg. Other Ingredients: Non-GMO medium chain triglycerides, and olive oil. Softgel consists of gelatin, glycerin, purified water and organic caramel. No wheat, no gluten, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts.

Answer:	While I have not and would not use the "Bone Up" formula, neither would I recommend purchasing Jarrow's MK-7. The "Bone-Up" formula not only has a small amount of MK-7, but the calcium source is not really very good and you have to take from 3-9 (depending on the formula) capsules/tablets a day. My personal commendation would be to get a good Calcium/D3 combo that provides at least 1,000 mg/IUs that you take 1 tablet once or twice a day. I use a Citracal formula, but you need to look for calcium citrate or calcium carbonate as they are more easily absorbed. If you want to take MK-7, you should know that it is important the manufacturer uses a quality "carrier" oil such as olive oil. The Jarrow brand uses evening primrose oil and soybean oil, which do not bind with MK-7 sufficiently. I'm speaking from experience. When I first started using MK-7, I used the Nutrigold brand. It was out of stock when I needed to re-order, so I ordered the Jarrow brand. I noticed the difference within a week. I now use Life Extension's Super K formula. Both the Nutrigold and Life Extension use olive oil as the carrier, both are currently in stock, and you take only one capsule daily.I'm sorry my answer is so long, but I believe in clarifying the reasons I have for saying yes or no on a product. Answer:	If this product is not, the Biotech Pharmacal - D3-5 (5,000 Iu) - 250 Count has stated that it is certified halal. It's the one I take and is available on amazon.

Answer:	Vitamin D3 is not beneficial by itself. In order to get the benefits, one must have a proper combination of Vitamins A, D and K2 as well as sufficient Magnesium. Of the three, K2 is absolutely essential and you really can't get too much of it. Magnesium is abundant in leafy greens, nuts, fish, beans, and chocolate. Vitamin K2 is primarily found in hard (raw) cheeses - also a good source of calcium, pasture raised egg-yolks, and fermented vegetables such as Natto and Kim-chi. One should take at least 100 mcg K2, for every 1000 IU Vitamin D3. Vitamin A toxicity - particularly the retinols found in animal and fish liver is a concern, however, the body should be able to regulate how much A it converts from carotenoids. Sweet potatoes, carrots, and dark leafy greens are the best sources of carotenoids. Therefore, for heart and bone health: Get adequate direct sunshine (D) and eat plenty of leafy green and orange root vegetables (A and magnesium), hard cheeses from raw milk (K2 and calcium) and fermented vegetables (K2). Answer:	I don't recall a yellowish tint to the product as shipped, but it's possible that it might have a very slightly off-white color. As for allowing a water solution to stand for hours, that probably is not a good idea, depending upon your intended use. I believe that most forms of vitamin C are perishable, especially if exposed to water and light. I use it as a major component of a powdered vitamin mixture. I seal the mixture in dry bottles containing silica-gel packets and store all but the bottle in current use in a cool dark closet.

Answer:	Thanks for your inquiry. The softgels are only minimally larger than the 1000IU D3 gel and absolutely no need for any concern unless you have extreme difficulty swallowing these. As someone who struggled until I was 40 to swallow ANY pills, capsules or solids, I can assure you that these are small and go down effortlessly.

Answer:	If the other 3 responses do not satisfy your questions, then you'd need to ask the manufacturer. If you're worried about GMO D3 and don't want to risk taking a pill to supplement a deficiency, then I suppose you should consider making your own. It's easy, just make sure you get a dose of sunlight sufficient to your need. Be careful not to wear sunscreen as your body needs a full dose, but make sure not to expose your skin too much to the sunlight. Don't want to get melanoma. Of course the real risk in buying non FDA approved vitamins is whether what you are buying is truly what it says on the label. I may have an answer to that question in 6 months when I see if my vitamin D deficiency has improved.

Answer:	Where they are made is only part of the question. It is far more important to know WHERE THE INGREDIENTS ARE SOURCED, and one of their source countries is CHINA. It's interesting to hear manufacturers say their ingredients are 'Sourced globally, including China'. To me, this is doublespeak for 'Made with Chinese ingredients'! I happily pay extra for companies that care enough about their customers to source all ingredients from the US or Canada.
