Answer:	I do not feel any effects. This is a vitamin needed to produce red blood cells.

Answer:	The ingredients are listed on the bottle. But for more of an explanation, B12 is needed by the human body and methylcobalamin is the more readily absorbable B12 that is available on the market. I think the other one that you can buy in supplement form is called Cyancobalamin, but it is not as readily absorbed by the body so I would not buy that one. As humans age the body's ability to absorb B12 is not as good and the body does not usually absorb B12 as well, so it is especially important for vegans and older people to take a good supplement of methylcobalamin. Most B12 sources come from animal sources, provided that those animals get it from the soil, and since soils are depleted in our modern society, it is probably good to take a B12 supplement even if you are not vegan, especially as you age. I understand that taking it sublingually (dissolving under the tongue) is also more absorbable than just swallowing it. You can look up methylcobalamin on wikipedia.org/methylcobalamin for a more scientific explanation or look in books on health, such as Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis Balch.
