Answer:	Can only relate my own experience. I take this for neuropathy in my feet, and am on 60 units of glucose a day. I started with 1 dose of 50 m of benefotimie 2 x a day, am and PM. My doctor just recommended I add 30g of L-glutamate a day since I am just starting chemo which makes neuropathy worse. Try raising your dose. These vitamins don't work for everyone so if you don't get improvement in a week, stop. I did find raising the doses did get me relief though.

If you did experience the intense heat with first doses, did this go away eventually, and how long before it stopped recurring with subsequent doses?

Answer:	Benfotiamine is thiamine which is B1. I don't think that this is going to increase B6. Also, I don't base this on any expertise, just my logic...which could be suspect. Or not.
