Dr. Ohhira’s multi-year fermentation process simulates the processes that occur in the human GI tract. The reason probiotic bacteria are important is totally related to the metabolites they produce and how those metabolites influence and regulate a wide range of biological functions in your body. The substantial “dose”, included in the capsule, of all the post-biotic metabolites that the probiotic bacteria have been producing during three years of fermentation include vitamins, amino acids, short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), immune system-enhancing compounds, detoxifying agents, cell signaling compounds, and probably many other beneficial substances that have not yet been discovered.*

Reestablish Your Microbiome

In certain instances the acid/base balance in the GI tract becomes too alkaline. This promotes/supports growth of pathogens and is unfavorable to the growth of probiotics. What are CFUs?

What are CFUs and why ‘Billions Aren’t Better’ When it comes to probiotics, quality is more important than quantity.
