Question:	Doctor recommend citracal 1200 slow release. nature's bounty are not slow release. is there a difference between them
Answer:	The difference I am aware of is that Citrical is calcium citrate and Natures bounty is calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is more common and cheaper. However, calcium citrate is more easily absorbed by the body. I have found through experience that it has fewer side effects (eg. constipation) and my doctor says that your bones benefit more from that form of calcium so the cost differential is worth it. Answer:	One of the primary reasons for using EcoBio-Block is that it removes ammonia, but because it uses live beneficial bacteria, it takes some time. It usually takes about 2 weeks, but it depends on the conditions in your tank.

Answer:	I have one of these, and I have 6 panda corys and 3 "Virginia" corys, and it has not hurt them. Actually, the fishes all ignore it. This thing isn't needed for anything. To get rid of ammonia and nitrite, use as large a filter as you can afford, and only put sponges and biomax (porous ceramic pellets) inside it. NO "ammonia remover" and other bags of "removers": those actually make the ammonia stay! A local aquarium store employee gave me that very handy tip, after I had had ammonia for weeks on end. Once I got that advice, the ammonia and nitrite disappeared and have never returned. People like Fluval should be reprimanded for peddling "ammonia remover" and their other granules in bags. The Fluval filters are good, though. I went for the 306 external filter and got rid of all my internal filters. The aquarium is 2' long, 18" high and 1' from front to back.So, don't waste your money on gimmicks like this (though I did leave mine in the aquarium) and bags of granules.
Question:	Is it safe for invertebrates? Is there any cooper in the formula
Answer:	It depends, I have 3 and only 1 has white spots, however it is also in a different set up, the white spots formed within the first 3 weeks and haven't done anything since, they look like hard water buildup, but I haven't noticed that it impacts the water quality. After we finished cycling the water has been perfect and I know there have a been a few times where I went 5 or 6 weeks between changing water and haven't had any issue. The aquarium that has the white spot is the one that suffers most from evaporation so I wonder if it has something to do with that, we lose about 5 gallons every other week to evaporation, so it may be related to hard water buildup, but the fish are happy and colors are vibrant and water tests at Petsmart are perfect every time, so I don't worry about it and hasn't been a problem for me.

Answer:	well I agree with the people who think it's wrong to say 1200mg... I was comparing the price to Sam's club calcium 600mg soft gels which SAY 600mg on the label, and then on the ingredients and serving size it does say to take 2/day and lists the total on the contents chart as 1200 for the 2 capsules, but they certainly didn't call their capsules 1200mg. THAT would have been false. If they show 600mg, then a person KNOWS that for 1200mg daily they would have to take two capsules and the bottle would last half as long. So that's my $0.02 and I will also shop elsewhere. :)
