Answer:	Since I have not traveled abroad in a while, I cannot truely answer your question. I will assume that if you buy a converter as my daughters have, it might work. I will tell you that mine is still working and working well and I have no problem with the item, but I am using it in the US. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I think it would be tough to reach crevices like your upper lip. This gets maybe 75% of the hair after going over it several times. Getting your face waxed biweekly is less painful, quicker and will get at least 95% of your hair on 1 try. My daughter no longer uses this.
