Always good to have these warnings, and even better to educate ourselves. They sit on my face wonderfully, are an attractive shape and collection of colors, and I even FaceTime friends wearing them. As a risk in our toxic world, I personally consider them minimal.

Answer:	Hi - Optician here. You should never add anything without discussing it with your eye doctor. Adding reading glasses over a prescription can actually make your eyes worse if you do not know what strength you should be using - if at all. For example, my correction is for distance, so it is difficult to see up close when wearing my contacts. (I can see up close without my contacts) As a result, my doctor prescribed me an 0.75 for up close vision. Depending on your prescription, you may also be a candidate for bifocals or blended focal lenses instead of reading glasses.
Question:	It says incl sun readers. i don't see any with shaded lenses. what do they mean? tia
Answer:	There are currently 4 choices for these glasses (in addition to the choice of strength.) 2 tortoise and 2 black, 4 tortoise, 4 black, and 2 tortoise and 2 black with one of the blacks with shaded lenses. You must make the correct choice of the 4 options if you want one with shaded lenses.
