Question: If I choose 2.5 diopters what is that going to be the middle of the lens
Answer: It will be 2.5 diopters at the very bottom of the lens for close reading or detail working and 1.25 at the top of the lens for near, like computer screen. In the very middle it will be somewhere in between the two, like maybe 1.75 or 2.0. I don't know the exact number. The glasses work well and are great for the price.
Question: does the lens pop out +1in left +2 in right
Answer: Probably, but I'm not going to try it with mine. The nylon line that holds the lenses in will stretch a bit so it should work. As I said in a different answer, if you are a good customer of an optician they may do it for you for free.
Question: what is the power in the distance
Answer: if the bottom part of the lens is 3.00 for example, the top distance part is about 1.50, so about half.
