Question:	The description says these are readers. What is the strength of the bifocal? Some answered questions say these aren't readers at all, some say
Answer:	I'm not sure what this fits. It wouldn't fit any of my Craftsman or Rockler fittings . I eventually sanded the inside of one end and put tape on the fitting going into the other end. I could have used heat but I was in a hurry. In hindsight I should have just bought a PVC elbow for a lot less but the bend was too tight. In fairness to the manufacturer, there doesn't seem to be any standard among the companies that make shop vacuums and their fittings. Good luck.

Answer:	The Powertec 70178 Elbow is a nominal 2-1/2” OD on both ends. It will work with 2-1/2” ID hoses or other adapter. If you are trying to connect it to a 2-1/2” OD hose or adapter, you can do so by using a rubber coupling, like the Powertec 70148, Dust Control Flex Cuff.
Question:	What is the magnification
Answer:	They should be the same size as they are both 4”. You can use the POWERTEC p/n 70149 Dust Control Flex Cuff with Hose Clamps, 4-Inch to connect them both.

Answer:	It can work physically but keep in mind the the vacuum air flow would be reduced by more that half. I doubt that you would be able to keep up with the saw dust coming from the saw.

Answer:	This is designed for a 4" hose to fit over both ends so if your hood is deigned for a 4" hose, it should work. If the reducer is expecting a 4" hose on one end, you will need a short piece of hose to attach to the coupling piece or a short piece of hose between your reducer and your hood.
