Starting material was found to contain 191 g major catechins/kg material, 36 g caffeine/kg material and 5.2 g flavonols/kg material on a dry mass basis. The content of major catechins in green tea extracts varied from approximately 280–580 g/kg dry extract, with extraction efficiencies of major catechins varying from 61% to almost 100%. Content of caffeine in extract was in the range of 75 g/kg, where its extraction efficiency varied from 62% to 76%. Average extraction yield was 30% with exceptions when using pure acetone and acetonitrile, where extraction yield was about 3%. Contents of flavonols and proanthocyanidins were in the ranges 6–20 and 12–19 g/kg, respectively. Answer:	I guess it can be used for both women and men depending on the person metabolism or the results you're looking for!!! I would recommend to any one . It would give you a boost plus the taste is great!

Answer:	Personally I think the NO-Xplode is a little foam-ier. The NO-Xplode doesn't provide as much of a caffeine buzz like the ON Pre-work out but it still gives a boost. If you're looking for that big burst of energy then I would stick with this.

Answer:	Better to me. ON is a solid name in the supplement industry and compared to C4 Original this has 25 milligrams more of caffeine. I do like C4, but considering the addictive element of C4 and the fact that the ON option slightly cheaper with more caffeine, it was a no brainer for me.

Answer:	Like any of these "pre-workout" supplements the whole point of it is actually to change your perception. These things don't actually "make you" go faster, stronger or bigger. The caffeine in this by itself should make you feel euphoric and perceive yourself as being able to concentrate better. In fact, something called a "caffeine rush" can make a person perform heavier dead-lifts and bench presses and all that versus someone who isn't taking caffeine. Studies show there is minimal effect with caffeine, beta-alanine and creatine with elite athletes. Much less to the 10-reps-of-3 daily guy. The problem with these supplements however is that your body will get used to it. What you'll find is folks who will say "I felt good about taking this for a week and then it just didn't give me that same rush anymore". Which is about right. Since your body gets used to it (e.g. caffeine) it will now require more of a dosage to get the same "feeling". So, yeah, it'll make you feel good on your 16K...but so will a tall/small coffee.

Answer:	After you open it and take out the scoop, close the container an shake it up and down for about 10 seconds, it will fluff back up to about 3/4 full.
Question:	Does this product work well for losing weight
Answer:	If you lift weights and are simultaneously cutting weight and trying not to lose too much muscle along with the fat, then absolutely yes. I'd even say substituting out other calories for a couple scoops of this a day is almost mandatory on a weight cut for lifters trying to maintain strength. You can use this to substantially raise the % of your calories you're getting from protein so that you eat enough protein while eating fewer total calories. One scoop of this stuff is 120 calories and 24 grams of protein. That's 96 calories from protein our of 120 total, a massive 80%.
Question:	If I were to make protein shakes with single serving size portions about 5 days/week, how long do you think a 2 lb container would last me? 5 lb? THX
Answer:	2lbs = 29 servings. Roughly, 5 days/week with a 4 week month is about 20 servings (excluding weekends). That leaves you with roughly 9 servings for the month left. I work out everyday but only take a shake after a workout. 2 lbs lasts me about a month. 5 lbs = 75 servings. For me, a 5 lb tub would easily be 2 months maybe 2.5. If you plan on staying with ON, it's more cost-effective to purchase the 5 lb tub depending on the vendor. Hope this helps.
Question:	Will consuming more whey (protein) help my rotator cuff tear heal
Answer:	I'm currently sitting here with a second surgery on my shoulder. First time was labrum tear and second was latarjet. I can say with 100% confidence drinking this will not help heal your rotator cuff. You posted this in 2013 and it is 3 years later, if you haven't seen a specialist and it hasn't given you problems that you are one lucky SOB. If it's still giving you problems, see a specialist or do PT. You probably need surgery depending on the tear. You don't want to live with that un-repaired the rest of your life haha.

Answer:	Yes, I did for two days in a row. And I only added 1-tbsp to my smoothie, not the 2-scoops that are recommended. It messed with my intestinal tract and bowel movements. I'm going to wait a while and then I may try using it alone in a smoothie with the protein super foods 50, Berry and water or some kind of liquid. I was a whey protein advocate for years and that never bothered me. I'm not a Vegan or Vegetarian, so it's not imperative that I drink this stuff. I need to look into "erythritol". Maybe that is the culprit.

Answer:	I like Blue Raspberry but the only other flavor I've tried is the Iced Mocha, which also tastes very good, but I first tried it with coconut milk and I added collagen protein powder and I drank this 3 times that day and felt ill that evening, not sure why, but I've found that the iced mocha tastes just as good with water than it does in milk. And the water seems to go easier with my digestion and it doesn't make me feel ill. I don't put but a scoop of either of these in my water at a time though, but I'm 60 yrs young so I try not to over do energy drinks, but I sure do like them! Also, this type doesn't make my muscles sting like some energy pre-workout powders do, so I really like that a lot.

Question:	Is this good for women? I know there are different ones for men and women
Answer:	I guess it can be used for both women and men depending on the person metabolism or the results you're looking for!!! I would recommend to any one . It would give you a boost plus the taste is great!
Question:	Can anyone compare this to NO-Xplode, first hand
Answer:	Personally I think the NO-Xplode is a little foam-ier. The NO-Xplode doesn't provide as much of a caffeine buzz like the ON Pre-work out but it still gives a boost. If you're looking for that big burst of energy then I would stick with this.
Question:	How does this compare to C4? Better? Worse? Different
Answer:	Better to me. ON is a solid name in the supplement industry and compared to C4 Original this has 25 milligrams more of caffeine. I do like C4, but considering the addictive element of C4 and the fact that the ON option slightly cheaper with more caffeine, it was a no brainer for me.
Question:	Is this good for running too? As in a 10 mile run
Answer:	Like any of these "pre-workout" supplements the whole point of it is actually to change your perception. These things don't actually "make you" go faster, stronger or bigger. The caffeine in this by itself should make you feel euphoric and perceive yourself as being able to concentrate better. In fact, something called a "caffeine rush" can make a person perform heavier dead-lifts and bench presses and all that versus someone who isn't taking caffeine. Studies show there is minimal effect with caffeine, beta-alanine and creatine with elite athletes. Much less to the 10-reps-of-3 daily guy. The problem with these supplements however is that your body will get used to it. What you'll find is folks who will say "I felt good about taking this for a week and then it just didn't give me that same rush anymore". Which is about right. Since your body gets used to it (e.g. caffeine) it will now require more of a dosage to get the same "feeling". So, yeah, it'll make you feel good on your 16K...but so will a tall/small coffee.
