Answer:	Feels like a thick very slippery oil so a little goes a long way. Washes off well so it's not oily. Def more liquid than a gel. Wish it was a little thicker so it wouldn't be so likely to drip off your hand while moving from the bottle to the intended area. Not as runny as those that are described as 'liquid'. I prefer a more gel-like consistency for just this reason. The product does work well, doesn't seem to evaporate or dry up too quickly, or get sticky. Washes off skin easily.
