Answer:	There is no way to know if this is the same as Pjur. While the ingredients may be the same, there is no way of knowing what the sourcing or formulation is. I find that it works as well and lasts as long as Pjur. I have found that different formulations may produce allergic reactions even though the labeling appears similar.

I think the real point is that you will be using MORE of this stuff and having to "refresh" your lube more often than if you choose a heavier, thicker gel.

Answer:	I have a bottle that was in my tool box when I left the shop in 1998. It is about 1/2 full and still brushes on fine. I had to stir it when I used it last (November 2018) because it had a layer of oil on top. I keep mine closed tightly and it sits on a shelf in my garage. Not sure if it is still as effective, but to answer your question about drying up, mine didn't...
