A couple of things you might want to check are that both new and old are the "Original" and if you have both containers from the old and new, you could take a look at the ingredients listed on the back to see if anything is different and/or if they are listed in a different order. The ingredients are listed in order of the amount in the product from most to the least. Hope that helps.

Answer:	When I began using it, I was dealing with severe dryness that caused a burning pain. For the first week or so, I used a some every night before retiring. Then I went to every other night. Now I use it regularly, a small amound, twice a week and have had no more problems. Since I have highly undesirable reactions to hormone-based creams and find that other lubricants are too heavy and too greasy, this is just perfect for my needs. My gyn thinks it is great, as does my urologist The extreme dryness was creating a site for UTIs, etc, but none since I started using the YES/OB.
