Answer:	No, not 100% synthetic (but I had to search for that info). I went to the Glenor Company website where they describe the covering as "split leather" covered with polyurethane, or PU Leather. Then I Googled "split leather" and found this: "Split leather is leather created from the fibrous part of the hide left once the top-grain of the rawhide has been separated from the hide." Answer:	I work in a doctors office and we use legit blue light therapy on people. We have special protective glasses for the procedures but I wanted to see if this would help my eyes from the strong light while I checked on my patient for a few minutes and it did.
