Question:	Would this product work well for picking up small sticks/branches, leaves, after a storm or windy day
Answer:	Yes, definitely. I use mine almost exclusively for yard work. We have a lot of pine trees and I use my older 26" model for picking up pine cones, small branches, and clumps of leaves. (A rake would be better for individual leaves; otherwise, you would have to pick them up one at a time.) The spring just broke in mine (after over 30 years of yardwork!) and I just ordered the 32". The 26" was a little short for yard work, but the 32" should be just about perfect.
Question:	I am preparing for major spinal surgery. Exactly how does this help with getting dressed? I haven't seen one of these yet
Answer:	I had spinal surgery in mid October. Answer:	4-1/2" on the 32" grabber and 4" on the 19" grabber. That's not absolute, because the jaw material is flexible and slanted slightly, so the actual width can be slightly larger, if necessary.

Very sturdy and with me having arthritis in my hands they are not hard to squeeze.

Answer:	My 6 and 7 year old grandsons easily use the grabber and the youngest wants one for his birthday. Of course, the weight of what they grab might make a difference. I don’t think a small child could grasp it tight enough for heavy things, but certainly a child could pick up paper and light objects and easily operate the handle.

Answer:	Yes it will pick up some things. I use it at the office for paper clips. But it will help you pick up heavier items that are metal, as you use the claw the magnet helps to hold on to items. I have picked up small screwdrivers.

Answer:	I'm sorry, but I'm not really sure what you're asking. Do you mean the nut, pecans? Or canned peas? I can tell you that I use my grabbers (reachers) for almost everything. I can open cupboards that are too high for me to reach and extract my bags of snacks with the same grabber. I pick up pills that fall to the floor, take canned goods from the pantry, pick up clothing that drops when I'm doing laundry, pick up pins that drop when I'm sewing (because some of my grabbers have a small magnet on the end).... This tool has a thousand uses! I keep several on the first floor and several on the second floor of my house, because I seem to need them often. I highly recommend this style as opposed to the sort with small suction cups at the end that look a bit like pincers. My only complaint about this particular grabber is the handle's shape; some others that I own have a curved handle more like that on a traditional cane, and that allows the reacher to be hung on the oven or refrigerator handle, on the arm of my motorized wheelchair, on doorknobs,, and on any number of other locations, so I can keep it handy. This one doesn't hang and so has a habit of falling on the floor, which is unhelpful.

Question:	Will this help take out the light bulbs that are in the ceiling
Answer:	I tried. As some pointed out, it did not work so well and good chance to drop the light bulbs. However, I did a few things and then it worked well. (1) Put foam tubing (those to make wider/larger grip for forks etc. e.g. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MXVPY53/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) around the flat tips. This gives it stable grip even with round/smooth objects like light bulbs. You can easily remove the foam tubing afterwards and reuse it later. (2) Use a velcro strip to secure the handle and free up both hands. Then you can use both hands to rotate the grabber to loosen or tigthen the light bulbs easily. (3) for additional secuirty, I crafted from chines take out box (transparent) two pieces to the two flat sides to form a cup-like basket.

Answer:	No , you have to keep tension on the trigger at all times.

Answer:	Depends on the child's size/strength. But, the 32 inch length might be long for a 5 year old. A shorter one might be easier.

Answer:	It is clumsy to hold if you have arthritic hands or fingers. I am 79 and it is more difficult than I thought it would be. I think I could pick up a small soda can, but could never pick up a large bottle.

Answer:	I doubt it. For the price, a part will likely cost as much (or more!) than replacing the entire implement. Not to mention shipping.

Answer:	No rubber grips but the molded tips have grooves in them to help grasp smaller items. However I did not find this grabber easy to use because grasp is not specific enough for small but heavy objects.
Question:	Will it pick pick up coins from the floor
Answer:	YES ... I just now did it!. Tested it. 4 out of 4 successes with quarters. It also was just as easy to pick up a penny and a nickel on first try. And I was at a very low angle (45 degrees or so). It struggled a bit with a dime. Took me 4 attempts and had to get nearly vertical.
Question:	Where can i get the vinyl tubing that goes over the tips? my cat keeps stealing them! even an accurate id for size would help me find something
Answer:	I agree with JMeady - heat shrinkable tubing (Big Box stores carry it in the electrical department) looks like what it on there. Find some big enough (it'll stretch a little); then slide it on; heat with hair dried & it should work & would be easier than trying to get a tight fitting regular tubing over the tips & into place, although even that doesn't look THAT hard; and there are lots of kinds & sizes of tubing at the box stores & you could try them. I suspect at least one of them will work.

Answer:	The Grabber Reacher Tool can definitely be used to pick up dry laundry off the floor. I've never used it to transfer wet laundry from the washer to dryer. Checking the weight capabilities in the Amazon item description should provide more information.

Answer:	I use it for everything. I would recommend laying the roll of paper on its side rather than standing it on end. You can grab the roll easily then.

Answer:	I never gave it a thought but if the screw is tight to the object or inset the answer would be No.If the screw is loose and you can use the grabber it might work Personally I would get a ladder and screwdriver and get the job done .Period.

Answer:	I use mine for river litter pick-up. It's done okay so far, but the "grabber" ends will bend if trying to pull on something buried in the bank a bit. As far as the wear under water, mine have held up and I've had them since February. I've been using them at least monthly since. I hope that helps!
Question:	Does it really pick up as much as 8 pounds? I need something that will get jars of pickles, syrup, peanut butter, etc. from top shelves at store
Answer:	No. It will barely handle One Pound between the gripping tips. I got it to retrieve books from high shelves. It will barely handle a one pound hardback book. Squeeze until I am worried for the grabber and worried for the tendons in my wrist, and the book just wants to slide out from between the tips.Note that the tips are the part of the grabber with the least mechanical advantage. It might do better with something round that would fit within the arms of the grabber. I just checked: the inner padded surface of the arms will do a fairly good job of gripping round objects from 2 1/2 to 3 inches (60 to 75 mm) in diameter. Smaller, and the arms can't tighten enough; larger, and only the tips get much of a grip, and as above, they don't grip very hard.I might consider it for a single serving can of soup or a catsup bottle, but I wouldn't be using it for quart jars of mayonnaise.

Answer:	No, you would have to keep your grasp on the trigger to keep it locked on the object. Once you release the trigger it would open the jaws of the gripper.
