Answer:	Yes, an expiration date is on batteries. I just use them. Some of them work and some don't or are short lived. I don't throw them out. Because of this I don't buy a lot at a time.

Answer:	No, these are zinc air batteries and they should be stored in a dry cool place. Putting them in a refrigerator will actually ruin them. You should store them in a dry cool place like a bedside drawer in a room that is not humid or hot.

Answer:	They last a full week in my hearing aids which I wear 15 hours a day. Same amount of time as much more expensive batteries.

Answer:	According to my audiologist, regulations now forbid the use of mercury in hearing aid batteries, so the modern ones run on different electro-chemical principles than batteries did formerly. If you look closely, you'll see tiny holes in the back of the battery that allow air to enter the battery once the tab is removed. This step, apparently, is necessary to give the battery a little head start in its operation. Again, my audiologist tells me that it's her experience that a 10-minute wait is preferable to a 2-3 minute wait in order to get maximum life out of a battery. My wife and I have been observing the 10-minute practice and find that the batteries last a little more than a week using them up to about 12 hours per day.

What’s the expiration date

Answer:

You don't know until you receive the batteries. They'll send you the oldest batteries on their shelf (cycling their stock). The batteries I received were within the expiration date and were weak. 3 out of 4 of my battery orders from Amazon suppliers had weak or dead batteries. They were different type batteries for different applications. I now get batteries from Walmart where they cycle their stock much more often due to buyer volume and I can see the expiration date myself.

Answer:	Yes 13 is thicker than 312, and lasts about twice as long. 13 will not fit in a hearing aid which uses 312.

Answer:	About 60 hours of use, I use mine 14 hours day, rest them for 10 hhours
