I have never encountered a round door knob away from my home. You might want to try using your forearm to turn the knob. Or, use a napkin or paper towel. Whatever the case, just wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap or use some hand sanitizer and use that. I always carry a 2 oz. bottle with me, as I am in the higher risk category. Answer:	The carton states that each bulb emits 800 lumens (equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent bulb) and consumes 8.5 watts. I was concerned that two 60-watt bulbs would not be adequate but was pleasantly surprised. Plus, they generate little heat so they don't deform the bulb cover. They don't affect the range of the opener, either - as promised. Time will tell about the life, but LEDs tend to degrade as they age, not just suddenly die. So far, I've been very pleased.

Answer:	I bought 4 of these bulbs in September, 2017. Two failed within 16 months. They have a 3-year Warranty, so I called Genie customer service 1-800-354-3643. They're good about answering the phone, and they accepted my Amazon receipt via Email. But then they asked for a credit card and charged me $8.50 + 0.79 CA tax to ship the two replacements via UPS Ground, and they refused to wave the shipping fee. I also spent about an hour on the phone to complete this transaction. Apparently the original bulb can no longer be sold to California because it didn't meet energy efficiency requirements, but they finally found one that did, part no. 39492R. Now waiting for these "free" replacements to arrive.

Answer:	Despite 800 lumens I went with these because I needed a fix ASAP. But since ordering I found another manufacturer makes a 1600 lumens garage door: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B075B7KRLC I doubt a higher lumens bulb will have less RF interference (more like it'll be lower than other 1600 lumens bulbs) however it's something you can try. If your opener can handle the wattage, you might also try a a 75W halogen incandescent (you can still find halogen specialty bulbs).

Answer:	I can’t find a definitive “yes”, but here is what I know and how to find out: The Celewell package lists 3 equivalents: A23, MN21, and 23A. Energizer (Eveready) calls it A23; Duracell calls it 21/23. Wikipedia says A23 is the same as 23A, 23AE, GP23A, V23GA, LRV08, 8LR932, 8LR23, MN21, L1028, or ANSI-1181A. Electrically it is a 12-volt battery, NOT a 1.5 volt battery, and that is what you need to be sure about, because there is a 1.5 volt battery of a similar size. Here are 3 ways to find out: (1) Get someone with a DC Multimeter to measure the voltage of your old battery. These get weak, not dead. If it measures more than 5 volts, it is probably an A23 family member. (2) Take it apart. The A23 is a strange beast made up of 8 separate little watch batteries pressed together! No other battery I have seen is made like that. If your battery comes apart into 8 little metal pieces, you have an A23. (3) email the vendor, they will respond.
