Question:	It look like the distance between the horizontal rails and the grab bar is fixed. What is the distance between the horizontal rails and the grab bar
Answer:	The grab bar height is actually adjustable. It looks like the grab rail is ABOUT 34" - 39" from the floor. I do not have it installed, so that may be off a little. I can't install it because the legs (even though ajustable) are too tall for my older box spring & frame. Before it can work at my house it would have to fit between the box spring and mattress. My mattress is a little over 14" off the ground. The legs are about 16" tall at their lowest, so installed, the stabilizing bar lifts the mattress off the box spring top. That is a rough measurement because I can't lift the mattress by myself to get the stabilizing bar back in there. Lost my helper to the surgery for a while yet - so I can't be exact. No lifting here at all for a couple more weeks. Sorry about that. It would be a good idea for the right bed. Maybe the manufacturer can give the exact measurements. The adjustable ranges are not printed in the documentation. Unfortunately I tossed it all as well as the box so I can't help with manufacturer's name either.

Answer:	I don't know what the weight capacity is, my husband is 6'3" and weighs 215 lbs and it works for him. As far as falling out of bed, it depends on where you place it. It definitely helps getting in and out of bed. My mom is 91 and we have one for her as she falls out of bed frequently and she hasn't fallen out singe installing it on her bed.
Question:	Is it possible to place this with the legs inside the bed frame instead of the outside? I'm concerned my dad would trip over the legs
Answer:	The legs do not stick out but sit right up next to the bed frame if you put the device up under the mattress far enough. My mom loves hers. Helps her turn over and sit up on the edge of the bed. She uses a walker also and there is no problem with the device interfering with the walker.
Question:	What is the lowest it can be adjusted to? How far does it insert under the mattress
Answer:	The lowest adjustment to the handle height is sixteen inches (16") from the floor to the box mattress, the highest is 20 plus inches (20" plus). We have a low profile box mattress (13" from floor) so it didn't work. It goes under the mattress 32" to 40". I could see where this item would work very well with a higher box mattress (16" plus from the floor) and therein lies the problem for us.

Answer:	The rails are against the sides of the mattress so any bedspread/blanket that hangs over the sides of the bed will "bunch up" at their location. I sacrificed perfectly made bed for personal safety. I straighten the blanket from the bottom of the bed to the rails then fold the blanket back on itself.

Answer:	Depends on the height of your mattress. It comes about 15 inches over the top of our mattress. I has been a literal lifesaver for us as my husband can hold on to it to pull himself up and to get his balance before standing up. Answer:	We have this on a king size bed, my husband says he didnt use any extra strapping to attach it to the bed. Hope that helps! There are times we have to push it back in because depending on how much, how often and which way you use it it can start to slide out from between the box spring and mattress. Its not a big deal though though im only 5'1" and have no problems getting it back in place by my self.

Answer:	You will have no troubles installing the EZ Adjust Bed Rail on your queen size bed. There is a quick assembly and installation video on the product page. Question:	Does the strap have to go around a bed frame or can you secure it around a mattress
Answer:	Bed frame would be the most secure, however, around the box spring under your mattress would work. I don't have a box spring under my mattress so I secured the strap around the opposite side of my wooden frame.
Question:	Will this work with customatic "privia" adjustable bed frame with no box spring, mattress only
Answer:	I looked up what a privia bed was. Not sure this would work. It has two pipe arm to slide under the mattress and straps that go around the box springs to keep it secure. It is a good product in the correct application. I feel you should keep looking.
Question:	We have a Craftmatic adjustable bed. Does the EZ Adjust Bed Rail work on this type of bed
Answer:	Should be able to, but you must install differently than the enclosed instructions. The rail is secured to the bed by straps that are supposed to loop around the bed's foundation. With the automatic bed, you must loop and tie the straps around the moveable base directly under the mattress NOT the foundation. This keeps the bed rail secured to the bed without interfering with operation and movement of the mattress and base. We are using it on a Tempurpedic adjustable twin bed and works great for what we need. The mattress base is metal on this model, so straps are very secure, just had to fiddle with excess length for a while. No problems with it all.

Answer:	I don't recall it having a strap. If it came with one, we didn't feel a need to use it. The frame attached to the bed rail goes far enough across between the mattress & box springs that a strap isn't necessary. My MIL has a queen size bed, and this rail has worked great.

Answer:	I do not have a sleep number bed. However, I can not imagine any problem, unless the bed/ mattress folds. Then, there might be a problem, if you want the bar to extend over the fold. If you place the entire bar on the level part of the mattress, it might more difficult to get out of bed.Some other responders say they have Sleep Number Beds and there is no problem in using this product. If their beds fold upward raising your head and upper torso, then there would be nothing for you to worry about. This bar is a great help. However, it is more difficult to make the bed then than without the bar structure.

Answer:	My bed is approximately 14 3/4 inches from the floor to the bottom of the mattress. There is some adjustment available on the legs when you set it up. I think it should be fine.

Answer:	I don’t think it would be a good idea. That’s about all that gives it any structure. The first time we used the bed it twisted and the bed fell to the floor even with the wires in place. I don’t recommend this item.

Question:	Can this be used on a platforn with bed rails going across vs lengthwise
Answer:	I have a platform bed also. I put it between the box spring & the mattress. There is a strap that goes around and secures so it can not be pulled out. It is very sturdy. I have used mine with much success.
Question:	How long is the strap
Answer:	Looonnnggg. It easily wraps around the biz springs of a queen size bed (60” width) and back around to the straps to lock and tighten solid to the bed. The extension posts go under the mattress almost all the way across the bed for stability, the two straps wrap under the base to lock it in place.
Question:	Are the dimensions listed height, width and depth under mattress in that order? In other words is the 31.5 the height of the rail
Answer:	sorry, it's in Texas and we're back at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri
Question:	How wide is the side rail? How tall is the side rail? Does it hold firm just by putting it under the mattress
Answer:	It's 18 " W - 20" H With out the middle bar it's 17" H. I have a 10" memory foam mattress so I attached mine to the frame. It's not a rail, it's a grip bar to help pull yourself up. I love mine it works great. I'd give it a five star. Sincerely N. C.

Question:	It says the bed assit hand/rail works if the measurement from floor to bottom of mattress is 17.5". ours measures 17"? will that work
Answer:	Should work fine. On lowest setting, the bottom of the bar that rests on the boxspring measures 16". My parents' boxspring is only 14.5", so the bar does not quite rest on it, but it's still solid & works well.
Question:	Cakn you pull on is in order to sit ip in bed
Answer:	Yes you can. It’s an easy way to sit up in the morning
Question:	Can you use two of these for both sides of a queen bed
Answer:	Yes. I actually use two of them on one side of a king bed so my husband can use both to get in and out of bed. I think they are wonderful.
Question:	Is the leg adjustable
Answer:	Yes. It came alreadt at the right leg height for my mattress/bed setup, but it has spring-loaded locking buttons for other situations. I love this thing. My physical therapist recommended it, with much appreciation to her.

Answer:	The strap is long enough. The bars that slides between the mattresses are long enough that we don't have to use the straps. Best investment we have made in a while.
Question:	does this fold flat
Answer:	It depends on how the bed adjusts. The polls that go under bed are once put together solid piece. I find that I can place it where is is most helpful and safe for wheelchair bound sister not to fall out of bed. If you want it placed at a bending point at hips or knees it wont work but if it's for upper body or calf it would work.

Question:	Weill thus fit a queen sized bed
Answer:	It should fit any size bed
Question:	I need something to hold onto on both sides of me. Can I place one on the left, other on the right. I sit between and pull up with both hands
Answer:	The two rails shown are independent. I have one situated on the side of the bed (along with other supports) and the "gate" one at the foot of the bed, which I cushion with a pillow. They have safety straps underneath. It's part of nighttime protection for a person who rolls around and can sit up but cannot get up alone. This is our way of doing it, and may not be the safest way, you should check with the company. You could also buy duplicate single solid rails, which might fit your purpose better.
Question:	How easy would it be for my elderly mom to lower the bar for my dad if she needed to
Answer:	It takes a little coordination. The strap below, when pressed down ( I use my foot) retracts the left and right locking pins. That lets the bar go down, but the strap can get in the way, so I pull it toward me (again with my foot). The bar goes down about 9-12" depending on your set up. When I pull the bar up at night, one of the locking pins needs some jiggling before it gets into its hole, but that's easy. We use it at the foot of the bed , with a pillow between the blankets and the bar to "lock it in" and provide cushioning, to prevent scooting down the length of the bed and falling out. Yes that happened once.
Question:	Can this be used on an adjustable twin size bed
Answer:	We used it on an adjustable bed. However we had different rails at the top of the bed. Used these at bottom of bed only and we placed each one of these rails across from each other, not on the same side of bed.

Question:	How close can this be placed to the headboard and still be stable? One diagram shows a minimum of "250". What is this dimension
Answer:	I am not sure what the 250 measurement stands for. I have installed the Bed Rail 19 inches from the bed head board and it works perfect. With the straps it is a very sturdy product.
Question:	Would this work with a fully supported matress bed, witout a box spring. A box spring makes the bed too tall for my mother
Answer:	This bed rail fits around a base devan style bed or frame type bed which does not typically have a box base. Please refer to pictures on the listing which aim to provide a view how the rail can be securely fitted.
Question:	Does this work with a platform bed
Answer:	Yes, You get two long ties, what my son did, he tied the rail to the platform, first then he put the mattress. so far, I've had the rail for about 3 or 4 months, and no problems!
