I tried it for a case of the runs today after eating too much fruit & drinking a lot of coffee for a couple of days to cleanse myself out. This thing just came in the mail today in time to test it. I'm female and following is how I tested it. Stood over toilet in slight bending forward position with larger part to the rear and as far back as possible to get both #1 and #2. It worked perfectly for catching both while holding firmly in place. Not a drop of either spilled and I had a major case of the runs. After my test I've decided this will likely be best for women that wear dresses. Any day my stomach is growling and I have to leave house I'll take this thing along while wearing a loose fitting dress. Bring a throwaway bag for the blue part after use since it will be quite dirty on inside. Need to wrap it up and take home to wash. Side issue is it will be better to be shaven towards the back so that your hair isn't full of #2 and easier to wipe up. Don't have to, but it would make cleaning up afterwards simpler. I can't imagine using this in the car unless coordinated enough to sit in back seat facing backwards on knees. I'd only do this with windows tinted if I wasn't in a dress. Hope that helps since I know this can be a serious issue for runners, or some as they grow older and Depends aren't an option for the runs.

I use them all the time and write on them with a big black sharpie. I do audio books in iTunes, which burns a lot of them (avg book is 12-15 CD's). Burn and write on them, as long as it is on the white side you can doodle them up. The quality of them is amazing, I have gone thru maybe 1000 of them with no coasters. The spindle is the weak link, the little tab things on the bottom break off easily and then when you pick it up the top comes off and you have CDs everywhere. But even then I picked them all up and they burned fine.
