Question:	Do I have to code the strips to the reader every time I do a test or just the first time
Answer:	You only need to code the strips once per bottle that you are utilizing. If you switch to a different strip (coming soon) you would need to repair the RFID according to which strip you wanted to utilize if you were switching back and forth.

Answer:	You can calculate your LDL by subtracting your HDL Cholesterol from your Total Cholesterol. The profile strips allow you to measure your Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, and Triglycerides.
Question:	Is is possible to apply too much blood? I can't get readings (only Lo or Er) and wonder if it's too little or too much blood on the strip
Answer:	As per the messages you are seeing: “Lo” - low blood, need to pour more blood “Er”- Does not read clean strip Please ensure that the blood sample is completely filled in a single action and that the capillary rod is also filled with the blood. The products that we carry come directly from the product manufacturer with the best available dating that they have (usually anywhere between 9-12 months) It is important to make sure you set the correct date & time on your CardioChek analyzer (sold seperately) BEFORE using any test strips. The instructions for setting up your analyzer are included in the User Manual that comes with the CardioChek analyzer (sold seperately). Currently, Total Cholesterol 3 ct exp 3-10-2021, HDL Chol 3 ct exp 3-15-2021 & Triglyceride 3 ct exp 12-15-2020. If you do not set the analyzer up correctly first, before using the test strips, then the analyzer will falsely read that strips are expired. Answer:	This item is only the CardioChek cholesterol home analyzer. The test strips & testing supplies (lancets & capillary tubes) are sold seperately & are not included with the analyzer. The test strips that are available to use on this analyzer are for Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides or Glucose. Ketone strips were discontinued by the manufacturer a few years back. For each test strip type that you want to run, you need a seperate test strips, seperate finger stick & seperate 15ul capillary tube amount of blood to get an accurate reading.

Answer:	This item is just the CardioChek analyzer. The CardioChek PTS Panels test strips are not included & are sold seperately. The CardioChek analyzer can be reused, you just need to purchase more test strips. We do not recommend purchasing a large number of strips as the expiration dating is usually anywhere between 9-12 months. If you do not use all of the strips up before they expire, then you have to throw the strips away & buy new. Thank you
