Question:	What is the cost of re-calibration? What's the approx. turn-around time to get it calibrated
Answer:	At the time of me writing this answer: $25.95 before shipping and however long it takes Amazon to ship a new device to you. Everything that I see says that if you are having major issues with your machine after the warranty period from the manufacturer expires you should just replace it with another. After the cost of shipping it or bringing it somewhere to get it calibrated, then adding on the labor cost of the calibration, you will most likely be looking at a cost close to, if not more than the cost of just purchasing a new unit.I have had mine for a couple of months now and I have noticed no issue with the calibration or accuracy of this machine. There are a few times that I have gotten an outrageously high reading (.25 % or greater) from someone else using this device, but that can (and is) attributed to not waiting at least 10 minutes from your last drink before attempting to get a reading. The alcohol left over in your mouth from your last drink is more than enough to affect the reading. I suggest waiting at least 10 minutes, then rinsing your mouth out with water before acquiring a reading.The second reading that I have gotten that would make you question the calibration is a .00 % after I have had a few drinks. This is a result of not enough air going through the machine to get a proper reading, but enough air getting through to not trip the "FL" output signaling a low airflow. This is fixed by just taking another test immediately after the mahcien resets and blowing harder into the mouthpiece. Again, I have had my unit for several months now and have noticed no decline in performance whatsoever past those two easily fixable reading errors. Hope this helps!
Question:	How many times you can use it
Answer:	I have used it about 12 times in about 6 weeks. The instructions say it needs recalibration every 6-12 months, or if used every day, it will need recalibrated in as early as a month. So that sounds like around 30 times? Instructions say it can fluctuate after limits have been met but for me so far, it still seems on target as I have had many road side tests. I hope it will last at least a year. They have a phone number and web address for info on recalibration. backtrack.com or 877-334-6876.

Answer:	I just did the research and yes, it will. Ketones are measured through the alcohol in your breath and a raise in Keytone’s will also raise in your alcohol levels even if you have not consumed any. A good reading would be around 0.4-0.5 especially when you have not consumed any alcohol whatsoever. That is a good sign that you are indeed in ketosis. This can be done with any breathalyzer, especially a cheap one.

Question:	How long did it take to arrive
Answer:	Each sensor is good for 200 breath tests or every 6-12 months, which ever comes first, usage or expiration date. The breathalyzer will come up with SEN notice on display when you have used up 200 breath tests, but will not give a display once the expiration has passed the 6-12 months.

After the WARM UP, a "Blow" sign appears on the display screen. In this mode, a countdown of 10 to 00 begins. During this period, a Blow nozzle is held and the air is blown with medium force for 3-5 seconds.

Caution

Caution flag will appear if the alcohol concentration ranges from 0.02%BAC(0.2g/l) to 0.05%BAC(0.5g/l).

Danger

If the alcohol concentration is greater than 0.05%BAC(0.5g/l), the warning Danger sign will appear with warning tone.

After 10 seconds of breathable alcohol depth display, it will automatically turn off. In order to achieve more accurate test results, it is recommended that users can repeat the test 2-3 times.
