Answer:	Honestly, I can tell you it is not USA. The tiny pamphlets included indicated Asia. But most important is that this device is not FDA approved. And, during a pandemic scared me...as it was defective.

Question:	What do you use to sanitize it after using
Answer:	If you are the lucky one who received a product which actually works you can sanitize it with alcohol or isopropyl alcohol.
Question:	Is it easy to read? (some mercury thermometers are extremely hard to read
Answer:	I haven't had any problems reading it at all. It's works well and when comparing readings with other thermometers, it's very accurate.
Question:	I can't get this to shake down as someone else has commented. Anyone know a trick to get it to shake down
Answer:	I taped mine (in its case) to a two foot piece of automotive electrical wire and whirled it round and round for about a minute...seemed to work. Tape it good, of course, so it doesn't fly off!
Question:	is this liquid metal or liquid alcohol
Answer:	Probably it is not liquid metal; it could be alcohol or something else. However, it was useless as it would not shake down once up.
