Answer:	No! It's INACCURATE! But not by much. Starting off, it's inaccurate by a 1/4 inch, and if you use the whole tape (60 inches), the inaccuracy grows to at least half an inch! See the attached photos in my 1-star review. Firstly, when you slide the end into the slot, the tape begins measuring from the 2" mark, which would make you think that the width of the body which contains the tape is 2". However, the actual width of the body is 2 1/4", a full quarter of an inch wider than it should have been! Secondly, the tape itself is inherently inaccurate! With every foot/12", it is short 1/16 of an inch, so when you get to the 5 foot/60" mark, the tape is short 5/16 of an inch. What this means is that, the tape will show an object to be 12 1/16", when in actuality that object is only 12". Given the above 2 issues, if you use the whole measuring tape (60 inches), the measurement will be off by at least HALF AN INCH!

Answer:	I could never get the app to work with my scale, I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 (yes I know sure old but it is a solid phone). I would say, if you are putting the scale on a tile floor make sure the tiles are level. they would throw the scale off if 1 foot is higher then the other.

Answer:	hello, here are the instructions on setting your scale from kg to lbs: Setting the Units (lbs or kg) 1. Confirm that the scale is turned off, and press the set switch. 2. Press the set switch to select the unit that you want to set. •The unit changes each time the set switch is pressed. •Wait for 3 seconds after setting the unit. 3. Confirm that “End” is displayed. •The settings are saved. •After three seconds of non-operation, the scale confirms the selected unit with two beeps, displays “End ” and automatically turns off. 4. If you to wish to delete any readings stored in memory press the set switch. Changing the units format will delete any stored readings on the scale.

Answer:	Yes, it shows all information on the screen of the scale. It is really nice to have it stored on a device to look back.
Question:	The description says 18 month battery life. What type of battery does it use? Is it rechargable
Answer:	Standard AA batteries. Definitely didn't need to worry about changing them for over a year with the predecessor Withings device and this is essentially the same thing with a Nokia badge. Presumably you could use rechargeables.

Answer:	Does not integrate with Fitbit. A full body composition not resulted after 1st use; only an unpredictable subset, always weight. Difficult toggle between family memb.Spoke w/both Withings&Fitbit and appears to be unresolved issues between them. Withings said go ahead and return. Sad because sleek and nice when worked but spent better part of day trying to work out integration. The Fitbit Aria 2 scale is no longer available and upgrade not released. Fitbit is not set up for full body composition—only et and % body fat. Can enter these manually. Apparently Fitbit data supposed to integrate into Healthmate, the Withing app , but was not very satisfying either. Hope this save another consumer from spending chunk of a day. I misunderstood from Amazon description about syncing. There are still SEAMS IN OUR WORLD!

Answer:	I mentioned it in the conversation about this question, but the link through MyFitnessPal will only send weight data to Garmin (if it works...). There's a paid service that will sync everything (body fat, bone mass, muscle mass, water %) called smartscalesync.com, I haven't seen any other solutions yet though.

Answer:	I think that one the reasons people may feel that the scale is accurate is due to the repetivity of results. Weigh yourself two or more times in a row and you'll get identical results. However, this is not an indication of accuracy. It's just how the scale works. IT WILL REGISTER THE SAME WEIGHT NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU HOP ON AND OFF. That is, until it's memory clears - which takes at least one minute. However, IF YOU WAIT AT LEAST ONE MINUTE BETWEEN SUCCESSIVE READINGS, readings will vary a bit. I took a sample of 10 such readings. Results: 3 @ 165.4 lbs., 5 @ 165.6 lbs., and 2 @ 165.8 lbs. This gives you some idea of the device's precision. As far as accuracy is concerned, my only other scale is a 12-year old Omron HBF-400 scale. On that scale, my weight is 164.8 lbs - a difference of about 0.8 pounds. I'm not sure which scale is more accurate, but the fact that the difference is less than a pound is reassuring. For my purposes, precision (consistent readings) is more important than absolute accuracy. So, I'd rate this scale as "adequate" or "satisfactory".
