Answer:	I don't know if this adapter could alone downsize the electricity of 220 current to a 9 volt appliance. It is an Italian device and suspect with the proper plug adapter it would work fine: I use simple plug adapters on my US phone and tooth brush when in Ireland. Answer:	Yep! You sure can. I use it to double check my powder charges when reloading cartridges. Once you get it zeroed in it works great. Sometimes it fluctuates +- a tenth (like 114.9 - 115.0) but for the money, pretty dam accurate. The Escali sounds good, but is overpriced. Taylor scales have been in existence for a long long time.

Answer:	While going through your profile set up, you will be able to select your gender. While the gender icon is flashing, continue using the arrow key (left or right) to change to your gender with an accompanied "running man" figure. The "running man" figure will indicate athlete mode. Tap the enter key (middle oval indentation located on the top side of the scale) to confirm and continue with profile set up.
Question:	Why doesn't the body fat measurement work? I have not been able to get the water or body fat to work. What's up
Answer:	Make sure you're barefoot when using the scale to record anything but weight. Have you established your baseline? The scale needs to know your age, height and sex before it can use the body fat and water measurements. Answer:	Yes. It measures grams, ounces and lbs. It also has a tare button which means you place the container in a container and press tare and it goes back to zero so you can get an accurate measure.
Question:	Does it come with the AC power adapter
Answer:	Escali scale does not come with power adapter. However, info to purchase a 9volt power adapter is included in packaging. We are occasional users and did not find a need to purchase adapter.

Answer:	It calculates body fat percentage but does not measure it as advertised. It measures weight and then uses what appears to be a formula to calculate a difference between measured weight and where you should be optimally. This difference is a calculation not a measurement. It does not appear to have any foot pad sensors.
Question:	Does this sync automatically with the app or do I have to launch the app first then weigh myself
Answer:	Once it is paired on Bluetooth, it will update the app automatically.
Question:	Will this scale connect with my UP3 band
Answer:	Not directly, it needs its own app which connects to the up app on my iPhone and passes along the information to the up app.
Question:	Will it work on a samsung android galaxy s3 or s6 and link to an up
Answer:	I use it on my Note 5 with my UP3. It doesn't push to the UP3 directly, though. Granted, I set this up months ago, so there may be something in the software that allows them to link now. I plug the weight from the Escali into MyFitnessPal and let IFTTT copy my weight to my UP diary. Since other people use the scale, I don't want the weights to be uploaded automatically anyhow.Of all the scales I've ever used, this is definitely the most reliable and accurate. The bluetooth bit is interesting but I would definitely purchase this scale again even if it didn't have the bluetooth.
