Push batteries into and under tiny holders. Fit square lid "teeth" back into slots and push down.

The Escali sounds good, but is overpriced. Taylor scales have been in existence for a long long time.

It measures weight and then uses what appears to be a formula to calculate a difference between measured weight and where you should be optimally. This difference is a calculation not a measurement. Since other people use the scale, I don't want the weights to be uploaded automatically anyhow.Of all the scales I've ever used, this is definitely the most reliable and accurate. The bluetooth bit is interesting but I would definitely purchase this scale again even if it didn't have the bluetooth.

Answer:	Yep! You sure can. I use it to double check my powder charges when reloading cartridges. Once you get it zeroed in it works great. Sometimes it fluctuates +- a tenth (like 114.9 - 115.0) but for the money, pretty dam accurate. My friend who loads for long range and subsonic shooting recommended this one to me and I use it all the time. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Graduation of readout is 0.1 oz when oz scale is used; 1 gram when gram scale is used.. The scale is not sensitive to weigh small weight items or when adding small amounts. For example, it will not accurately measure the weight of a penny (2.5 gm or 0.088 oz.).
