Answer:	The pan on the scale is made of metal. I think the extra weighing pan that comes with the scale is also made of metal but I can't remember exactly.

Answer:	Yes. It measures to the nearest milligram (0.001 grams). It also has a calibration weight to keep it accurate. It maxes out at 10g and has a small pedestal for actually weighing; so if you’re doing a large batch like 50 capsules at 250mg each I’d recommend a (0.01g) less accurate but higher capacity (25g) type of scale.
Question:	What size battery does it use
Answer:	If you set the THINKSCALE scale to weigh in grams, the display reads out to 3 decimal places. So if you put your item on the scale and it reads out, for example, 0.250 grams, that would be 250 milligrams. It seems to be accurate only to about 2 milligrams. The readings for the same item vary by about 1 or 2 milligrams. That' pretty good for such a small, inexpensive device.
Question:	Does this scale weigh in weights other than grams
Answer:	This scale will easily detect 10 mg. But the reading seems to change by about 1 or 2 mg. My guess is that it is only accurate to about 1 or 2 mg. I use it to measure things in the range 50 to 500 mg or higher. It works very well for that. I don't have a scientific balance to compare it with. But that's my best guess. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Hello, yes these are 3/4" long screws. The O-Ring does take up a little of that length, but you will still have well over .700" (18mm) of length to work with.
