Answer:	No it's not hard to walk due to the rocker. Your foot is kept straight (no bending) and your ankle bends so you walk more normal. You can have a tennis show on the other foot as I wore my normal shoe (flats) on the other foot. You can also inflat the sides if needed. I did for a few days. I didn't have any problems with this boot and was extremely glad as I have had back surgery and this boot helped take the pressure off my back!

Answer:	Not sure what that means but it's says women's hiking boot. I ordered mine according to my size in women's shoes and it fit fine. I ordered a half size bigger for a little more room for thicker socks.

Answer:	Yes, the shorter boot provides too much movement of the foot which deters healing and doesn't support the soft tissue and ligaments that are usually damaged. I am currently in this boot provided by my orthopedist for a 5th metatarsal fracture. Healing time being 6-8 weeks with limited weight bearing. Hope this helped!!

Answer:	Be sure your outer support wrap is tightly around your ankle. Place your heel firmly against the back of the boot. Tighten the middle strap first. Tighten the others as much as you can stand. Don't worry about your toes focus on the ankle. It's your anchor. Your next step would be to replace the outer velcro support. I had the same problem. More foam support was the answer. Answer:	Short refers to how far it goes up your leg, not the length of the foot bed. So no, your toes should be entirely enclosed by the boot, as long as you order the correct size. My toes were very well protected after surgery.

Answer:	There is a pump built into the side of the boot on the elite model. You can inflate, deflate and control pressure in the various chambers without any special tools or devices. I would definitely get the elite because you have to adjust the air a lot during the day and having to carry a separate tool would be a nightmare.Just my two cents...

Answer:	I would have to agree with the previous respondent, the "D" size usually means medium. I normally pick that size without any problems.

The oils in the leather make them resistant for a period of time and an aftermarket treatment would likely help maintain this level of water resistance over the life of the shoe. Question:	How many air chamber and were are they located in this boot. Is it a hot boot to wear or cooler one
Answer:	I found this to be a lot cooler and lighter than the one I got from the ortho doc. However it was not cool. I am not sure how many air pockets there are.
Question:	Is this helpful for soft tissue problems like plantar fasciitis? Is the sole soft to prevent stress to the heel
Answer:	Soft tissue problems is what this boot was designed for. I found it to be very comfortable. With the straps tight and the air pillows inflated it created a comfortable state of immobilization in the proper position.
Question:	Is this a left or right side? Or universal

Question:	Does this come with the pump
Answer:	Pump is included.
Question:	I wear boots that are roughly 18-20 inch calf circumference. Will this fit my calf/lower calf area
Answer:	This is the Short Pneumatic boot. I would not expect it to rise high enough to cover your calf. You'll need to specify a shoe size or aircast size if you want someone to measure the circumference for you, I've got a 21" calf circumference and it is a non-issue with the Large. These are pretty flexible on sizing, the limiting factor for you will be the width at the top of the boot (which is below the calf for me at 6'0"). For the Large: The top of the boot is 9" from the bottom of your heel (measuring the inside of the boot). The side-to-side diameter is 5" at the top, this is relatively inflexible (you can make it smaller with the strap, but not flex it bigger. Where the boot hits my leg is 13" in circumference, I've got a bit of room on the sides and plenty of room front to back (before tightening down the velcro).
Question:	Can you drive with this Aircast SP Walking Brace on your right foot
Answer:	It was very tricky. I ended up driving with my left foot most of the time because the width of the aircast would catch the brake while I was accelerating.
Question:	i wear a womens 8 would i need a small or a large
Answer:	I got the small and wear a 7 1/2 shoe. My toe hangs off the front. I have worn 7 1/2 shoes for many years, so I say go with a medium if you are an 8 or 8 1/2. Also, I do not have large calves, but the inside part barely covers my calf. If you have large calves, do not order this. Also, it has absolutely no arch support!!

Answer:	The small is just right for size 8.5 (about an inch between big toe and the toe protector bar).

Answer:	I dont think so, But I dont see why you would want to?
Question:	Is there any metal in this boot
Answer:	The rivets that hold on the strap hooks on the side of the boot are metal but that is it. So for this boot, there are 4 rivets, 2 of each side, each very small, sized like the top of a screw.
Question:	Can you wear this in the water
Answer:	We do not recommend you wear this in the water as the liner in the boot is fabric and it will absorb the water very quickly.
