Answer:	The size needed is based on ankle measurement, not shoe size. My ankle measures 9 inches and my therapist selected a size 4 (9"-9 7/8"). If you are between sizes, it is best to go with the larger size to avoid constriction.

Answer:	I wear socks under the brace, but I wear thin low cushion athletic socks. For thick socks with heavy boots I would wear the brace under my socks.

Answer:	Definitely not neoprene. I don't believe there's any latex either. It's made of a super grippy elastic knit fabric. It's a great brace, the most comfortable and supportive I've tried. I was in a full foot to knee boot for 6 weeks, this brace is better in every way. The strap under the arch is genius.

Answer:	The function of this product is to support the ankle to prevent it from any lateral twisting while still being able to have the normal heel to toe motion. It probably can be worn to play soccer but I honestly don't know how comfortable it would be. It might be more comfortable if you put it on over a sock though. But if you need that lateral support, this is the brace for you.
