Answer:	Well I use them on a smooth bar and it can be a little slippery so I use chalk, but they feel real good and will protect your palms. They don’t provide too much grip but works good for me.

That said, I don't think I'd want to wear them for hours during a tough mudder. It's adhesive and it starts bothering my skin after an hour or so. Also, these grips are specifically made for barbell/pull-bar work. They work great for that purpose. For mud races, I personally prefer gloves that I stow tucked in my shorts until I need them.
