Question:	Does this fit a larger wrist? How long is it
Answer:	No it will not fit a larger wrist, unless you wrap it so tight that it could be uncomfortable. My wrist measures about 7.5 inches. I need only thumb stabilization so I want a loose fit. I cannot attach the inner velcro (about half an inch wide and 8inches from the wrist edge) unless I make it too tight to wear. Also the second, outer piece of velcro is about 7 inches further along on a wide elastic meant to secure around the wrist. This does not fit around me either unless I stretch the elastic quite tight. I can attach the velcro to the body of the brace, however, it is not as secure as the vertical velcro strip. I doubt this arrangement would be adherent very long, however I only need the brace another few weeks, so am hoping for the best.

Answer:	I wear it all the time, except when doing something where it would get wet. I think it really depends on how bad your problem is. Mine is bad so always works for me. If you are not sure, try wearing it only while you sleep. If that works for you, Great. If not, then extend the time into the day.

Answer:	Hi, don't know if this will help you. It's my husband that wears these supports. He too has arthritis throughout his hand, carpal tunnel, chronic tennis elbow combined with shoulder problems. He's 65 and has worked as a mechanic for 50 years. He started developing severe pain about 4 to 5 years ago. He's been through cortisone shots galore but he still experienced hand (especially in the thumb/wrist area). The pain was worst when he used his high power air tools. I suggested wearing a support and found these at Amazon. I got one for him and he was so happy with it that he now has six of them (so he still has a couple when the rest are in the wash). He has told me that he has gotten considerable relief, even when using the air tools. He believes it is specifically because of the support he gets through the thumb/wrist area. I am not a doctor so cannot really comment if it will work for you when lifting weights. My only suggestion might be to purchase one (they're not that expensive) and see how it works for you. Answer:	Yes, the section that extends down into your palm is rigid. The rigid section is 1.5" in length from the bottom of the strap piece.
Question:	my ring finger knuckle locks in the bent position. Will this help correct this condition or just give relief
Answer:	It does help it from locking. As a result, it does help to keep the inflammation down so I don't have to wear it as often. However, even though it has a lower profile then one that wraps around my whole finger, the metal does hurt my palm and after wearing for awhile even the finger next to it starts hurting. I alternate between both styles. Both will help to where the locking doesn't happen near as much.
Question:	My middle left finger is hypermobile and bends far back now , making it nearly impossible to type. will this help it to not bend backward
Answer:	I doubt it. You could wear the splint on the back of the hand instead of in the palm but when I tried it, it didn't seem to prevent the finger from bending backwards like it does on the palm side.
Question:	does this work for your thumb
Answer:	I didn't have one for my thumb when I had trigger finger on my thumb but it appears to work on you thumb as well. It keeps your fingers from folding up and keeps the pain away for the most part. Right now I am wearing the brace on 3 of my fingers and need another for another finger. I am unable to have the surgery because I am on 2 blood thinners and could bleed out. My son who is a doctor has advised me to see a hand doctor because they now have a shot that might help me with some or all of my fingers.
