I use a different one to go around my knee because my knee is a little bit larger due to multiple surgeries and what I'm trying to recover from. so this one runs a little bit on the smaller side it's probably more designed for a woman but a small to average size man could use it very effectively as well. I've used it on my knee in the pinch but I prefer the one that's a little bit larger.

Answer:	They make a youth one.Personally, I am an average size female (wear size 7 shoes,) and I have the S/M. I would prefer to have the larger size because:1- Greater ice coverage.2- The ice packs would lay flat in the wrap better.3- It would be easier to work a sore ankle into a looser wrap.4- There's really no reasonable hope of walking around in them--your feet hurt, they need to be up, so what difference does it make how big they are.

Answer:	I have to leave it out of the freezer for a bit before I can even stand to put it on (over a light sock) I leave on for 15-20 minutes and it is still cold enough to use a second time an hour or hour and a half later before I put it back in the freezer.

Question:	Is this the best brand? The quality of how
Answer:	I own this brace and the 875. I purchased both in 2014. I use the 875 every week in Houston while playing tennis and the 872 is used about 1/2 the time on the other knee. I tried on many brands and the Shock Doctors felt like they gave me the best support but everybody's knee is different. I don't see any excessive wear on the 875 even though I have been using it 3 hours a week for 6 years in the high humidity and heat of Houston. I can push off as hard as possible and it does not slow me down. I would not call it comfortable but it is very comforting to know I can't hurt my knee.
Question:	Is there some way to select whether the brace is for the left or right knee
Answer:	There is no right or left for this brace.
Question:	I measured 2" below the center of the knee cap and got 14.25" to 14.5" . Would you recommend the L or XL
Answer:	Mine measured at 15.25, which I could have gone with the XXL instead of the XL. My only issue was when it was new, it was very difficult to put on, because it fit me really tight/snug and it doesn't help that my calf muscle is pretty well formed. I have had it for a few weeks now and it has stretched a little, but it is still snug, easier to pull up now. So, to kind of answer your question....I usually am an XL, so I went with XL. You are like me, you are in that in between size where you could go either way, I would just go with the way you think would better suite you. I like that fact that it's snug, I feel like the XXL would have become a little loose. Hope that helps.

Question:	Is this a neoprene brace or does it contain neoprene
Answer:	Similar. It's a clean invigorating smell. I really like it!
Question:	Does this support the knee during heavy weight lifting
Answer:	it only ships within USA - so I would only "assume" it's made here. Does it really matter??
Question:	I do a lot of hiking around waterfalls where the rocks can be pretty slippery. Would the padding be sufficient if I fell on a knee / kneecap
Answer:	You can spray it on cotton balls and keep them in the area where the mice came in or spray it directly in the area where you don't want them. I put peppermint oil in a spray container and. spray it in my storage unit, in the garage, in cabinets, by my car particularly around the engine where squirrels have eaten through the plastic on the wiring anywhere you don't want them because they can't stand the smell!!!!

Answer:	I know, I had to struggle with it. Hold the center down, hold firmly, then turn lid off. If I can remember correctly, that's how I got the lid or top off. I hope this helps you !
