Answer:	From the label: Butane, Acetone, Heptane, Isopropanol, Propane, Resin.So it utilizes several solvents (to keep the adhesive viable in a spray form for long term storage and use) and the components of a fast drying (evaporating) adhesive carrier. It has an alcohol smell when sprayed, but it quickly dissipates. It is best to apply tape while the adhesive is tacky, but not completely dry; about 10 seconds after spraying. The ingredients sound harsh, but if it helps, I have very sensitive skin and have had no issues using this adhesive on my feet for therapy purposes (keeping taped 6-8 hours).

Question:	Is this the best brand? The quality of how
Answer:	I own this brace and the 875. I purchased both in 2014. I use the 875 every week in Houston while playing tennis and the 872 is used about 1/2 the time on the other knee. I tried on many brands and the Shock Doctors felt like they gave me the best support but everybody's knee is different. I don't see any excessive wear on the 875 even though I have been using it 3 hours a week for 6 years in the high humidity and heat of Houston. I can push off as hard as possible and it does not slow me down. I would not call it comfortable but it is very comforting to know I can't hurt my knee.
Question:	Is there some way to select whether the brace is for the left or right knee
Answer:	There is no right or left for this brace.
Question:	I measured 2" below the center of the knee cap and got 14.25" to 14.5" . Would you recommend the L or XL
Answer:	Mine measured at 15.25, which I could have gone with the XXL instead of the XL. My only issue was when it was new, it was very difficult to put on, because it fit me really tight/snug and it doesn't help that my calf muscle is pretty well formed. I have had it for a few weeks now and it has stretched a little, but it is still snug, easier to pull up now. So, to kind of answer your question....I usually am an XL, so I went with XL. You are like me, you are in that in between size where you could go either way, I would just go with the way you think would better suite you. I like that fact that it's snug, I feel like the XXL would have become a little loose. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It doesn't limit any natural movements of the knee so should work for any activity.
Question:	Is the brace open behind the knee so that it won't pinch in the back
Answer:	No its not open but there is mesh panel back there to help vent the back of the knee and to help prevent pinching. Just remember that the sizing chart is off. That is to say if your knee measurement says you should have an XL and the measurement is towards the top end of an XL, get the 2XL.

The sizing guidelines and where to measure per the manufacturer is this: "For best sizing determine the circumference of the knee by measuring 2” below the center of the kneecap. Answer:	They are the same brace. United Sports Brands owns both Mcdavid and Shock Doctor. They are just have different names on them.
