Answer:	I have cut a 60 ring gauge cigar but the entire body definitely wouldn't fit. I'd guess that a 58 would probably fully fit but I haven't tried it.

Answer:	It says 60 gauge but you can’t get it around a 60 gauge cigar. It will easily cut the end. 54 gauge you can cut the ash off to save a partial cigar for later. Great cutter for price.

Question:	I saw there is a screw on it. If I open that one, is it possible to have access to the blades so that I can sharpen them every now and then
Answer:	I took the gold screw out to attempt the request....it only opened the unit so that you can view it better by moving it to the left or right. The blades did not dismantle. However, if you also remove the silver screw at the end, you may be able to dismantle the entire cutter. Looked a little to complex to put back together so I did not attempt it. I hope this helps

Mine works really well...the things to check for (please do not take offense if you are an experienced cigar person) is that the cigar is sufficiently humid (should be around 70% to 75% for best cut). Dry cigars often mangle rather than cut nicely using any cutter.

Question:	I just purchased this cutter and wanted to know what cigars are supposed to be used on both sides of this cutter. The holes that have slits in them
Answer:	Some people prefer a "V" cut to the standard straight cut. A "V" cut makes it less likely that the cigar wrapper will start to unravel after you cut it. Depending on the size of the cigar and how tightly the cigar has been wrapped, you might not get as much draw from the cigar as you would with a full cut, although that is rare. Should you find yourself needing more of a draw you can always recut with the straight edge but, typically, if you're not getting a good draw it has more to do with a plug somewhere in the cigar. As with the straight cut, you have two size options for a "V" cut with this unit, depending on the width (gauge) of your cigar.
