It has some softness, BUT it is also pretty durable.... which makes it the best in my opinion. Nothing like wiping your A$$ and all of a sudden your finger breaks through. GROSS! And it doesn't pill up all over your butt. All I can say is give it a try, it's worth the 20 bucks. :)
