DIRECTIONS:

• Spray the surface with the product, buffing with a dry microfiber cloth in 3-foot sections
• Wipe completely dry after 1-2 minutes and allow 1 hour to cure.

The Granite Water Test

The water test is the simplest way to check if your granite needs to be sealed. Pour a small amount of water, about the size of a quarter, on different sections of your granite. Let the water sit for about 30 minutes and see if the granite absorbed the water into the stone.

If the water was absorbed by the granite, you need to reseal your granite. You can tell it was absorbed if your granite darkened.

If the water stays on top of your granite like the image to the right, your granite is protected. We still recommend applying the Granite Sealer at least once a month as a preventative measure.

Answer:	Black Diamond is an excellent product. You wipe it on your granite and it shines and is sealed. You're done. I do the process more than just once a year because it leaves such an amazing shine. I do not need any other products.

Answer:	it should, if the surface is rough it may soak up quite a bit of the product initially though. I'd bring a couple heavy duty rags to apply it evenly.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. S.A.C works on natural stone surfaces. It does not work on Caesarstone as it is an engineered, man-made material.

Question:	I removed the lid from a pot of boiling water and placed in on my counter top and it left a big mark. Will this poultice remove that embedded mark
Answer:	It sounds as though the lid was extremely hot and may have burned the stone surface, based on your description. Unfortunately, S.A.C does not remove surface burns. The stone top will most likely need to be honed to remove this mark.
Question:	We have a backsplash that is probably marble or travertine and someone painted a large pineapple above the sink. Will this safely remove the paint
Answer:	No, S.A.C will probably not work on removing paint.

Question:	does this clean tough soap scum
Answer:	Yes. My son made some vinegar cucumber concoction when we were away on vacation and spilled vinegar on our marble table. It was pretty bad. This stuff worked very well. My husband worked many hours on it but it looks like new. It is worth it to get some. It takes a lot of rubbing but it worked.
Question:	Is this safe for gray grout? I am worried about it staining the color of my grout
Answer:	I would doubt it very much. I bought this to refresh an Empress green marble countertop, which was basically in fine condition; just needed to shine up a few areas, no stains. There was no improvement at all. Need a professional to go over the top (if I care enough!) I have removed stains from a honed carrera marble floor using peroxide-not the regular strength, but a heavy duty 12% solution that recommends dilution. I used it straight, and kept off that area until it dried, which took about 6 days. The stains were gone! Sealed it, and the area is now perfect.

Question:	Can this be used on a small marble bathroom floor
Answer:	Unsure. I would try it in a small corner behind the commode, if you can. If you're deciding whether to even buy this product, I'd say move on. There's been lots of glowing reviews but it didn't clean my granite tops better than products I could buy at the grocers. I'd look for a product at the store, or Target, that specifically cleans marble.

Answer:	I believe it's a fairly neutral ph. You use just a small amount in a gallon of water (2-4 ounces) and mop your tile/stone. It cleans very nicely. It is a no-rinse kind of product. I have used it on my stone floors for years.

Answer:	I have always used a 2-to*1 ratio and it seems to work well on my floors, I hope this helps.

Answer:	It would certainly be one of the first and easiest things to try. It has worked on most etches and even mineral buildups for me. Just be sure to do a test spot to confirm that it does the job for you and take your time. It took several tries of about 1 minute for me to get the best results. Good luck!
