Answer:	The cleaner is made specifically for the glass top which is the only way I’ve used it and product nails it! I don’t think it would be harmful, but I doubt it would be effective in the way an oven cleaner would deliver. Hope you find this helpful!

Answer:	Hi Jennifer - To clarify, none of the various BKF products are exactly the same. This formula utilizes citric acid rather than oxalic. Can't speak specifically to aquarium use (presuming hard water stains/mineral deposits?) but, aside from the main use as a cooktop cleaner, we get many positive responses from those who have used it to remove hard water buildup/soap scum from shower door glass, etc. as long as the buildup isn't too severe. Then BKF Cleanser or Soft Cleanser would probably be the "go to", in that case. The Dual Fish scrubber sponge is quite good and the plastic scraper with 5 plastic blades should help your cleaning efforts, as well. Hope that helps!

Q: What’s the difference between EASY-OFF Heavy Duty and EASY-OFF Fume Free?

A: Heavy Duty is our strongest formula, so it will be the fastest and deliver the best cleaning effect on tough stains. However, it does require rubber gloves and a mask when using. Wait time can be as short as 5 minutes for warm oven cleaning and 20 minutes for cold oven cleaning.

Fume Free is our formula with no harsh fumes. It still delivers the results of EASY-OFF Heavy Duty but requires more wait time (40 minutes for cold oven cleaning vs. 20 minutes when using EASY-OFF Heavy Duty). This product also works on self-cleaning ovens.

Q: Can EASY-OFF Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner be used on continuous or self-cleaning ovens?

A: As indicated on the label directions, we do not recommend using EASY-OFF Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner on these types of ovens. Directions must be followed explicitly. Make sure to use EASY-OFF Fume Free Oven Cleaner in a self-cleaning oven.

Q: How soon can the oven be used after cleaning with EASY-OFF Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner?

A: We would not recommend it due to the fact that some finishes today are highly polished aluminum which can very easily be mistaken for chrome; therefore, we must put this caution on our label. EASY-OFF Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner will pit and discolor aluminum.

Q: Can EASY-OFF Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner be used on any aluminum?

A: We do not recommend using this product on aluminum, as it may pit and discolor it. However, it does not penetrate into the metal or remain on the surface after the recommended rinsing instructions have been followed. Utensils and appliances cleaned with EASY-OFF Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner are completely safe for use in cooking or serving food after they have been thoroughly washed and rinsed in a vinegar and water solution.

Q: If the product gets on linoleum or other types of flooring, will it leave a permanent stain? Is there some recommendation for removal?

A: This is a caustic product and there is a warning statement on the label which cautions the user to put newspapers on the floor for protection. It is possible that if the problem is treated right away some of the “rust-like” stains will disappear. We recommend a watery paste of a dry kitchen cleanser. Allow the pasty substance to remain on the affected area for 10-15 minutes, then wipe gently with paper towels to remove all residue. If neither product is immediately available, paper towels saturated with water may aid in removing the stain. Also, allow the wet towels to remain on the area for the same amount of time, then rinse continually for several applications.

Question:	can this be used on my stainless steel stove top
Answer:	The best way that I know of to prevent glasses from getting cloudy in the dishwasher is to NOT pre-rinse all of your dishes. Just about all dishwashing powders and liquids have abrasives that attach to stuck on food to remove it. If you have zero food on your dishes in the dishwasher, the abrasives will just bounce around on all of the dishes and never stick to anything. That will scratch up your glasses (causing the cloudiness) and even dull your silverware over time. Make sure to have at least a couple of dishes with gunk on them for each wash cycle. That will let the abrasive cleaners attach to something and leave your glasses scratch free.

I actually considered purchasing a new shower base because I was so frustrated.The other commenter is right about leaving it on overnight. I had to go through the process twice because the first time I rinsed the shower after only a few hours.

Answer:	Don't know what you mean about "latest formula cz" but my glasses are fine without using any "glass sparkle" additives.

Answer:	I've added it to the sink when handwashing dishes instead of dish soap; however, I still clean the dishes with dish soap. This is a personal preference because this detergent doesn't create suds in the sink. I would imagine it would work since it's used alone in the dishwasher, but I can't say for certain because the heat the dishwasher creates may be a factor, asking other things.

Answer:	I tried rubbing some on the bottom of a stainless steel pot that had some burned on residue...it took some rubbing, but burnt on stuff that my regular dish detergent didn't take off came off with the Ceramabyte. However, Ceramabyte makes a product specifically for stainless steel. It got high reviews, but one person said it streaked and left smudges. With this product, you HAVE to use a clean dry cloth (or paper toweling) and completely rub the product off after you've finished removing the dirt and grease. And, it's important not to use too much...I just use a few drops on my cooktop...otherwise it does take much longer to get all the residue off and leave it spotless. The stainless steel cleaner can also be purchased with a special scrub pad. I'm going to buy a bottle myself for my oven door and refrigerator!

Answer:	We would recommend cleaning and removing residue with one cloth. If the surface is not completely dry after removing the light residue, then we would recommend buffing the surface with a secondary soft clean cloth. This will help remove any haze left from the product.
